kahlos
Okay ladies and gents.. We have some MASSIVE HUGE ENORMOUS GIGANTIC boots to fill. It's a great aspect of the MUD though and I for one am challenged to up my RP and my PK to even have a chance to make it in the HOF. I salute those already in the HOF. KRins
Let's hope it affects everyone in such a way... instead of producing a bunch of copycats like I imagine will happen.
Celerity
My five votes are for Galvatar, Messalantha, Martineius, Morchial, and Airen. In no particular order
kahlos
I'm still a fan of the late 2.0 era so my votes go to: Tetsunai Gomanhor Azaghtoth Shaw Corim
Chayesh
Some names that strike me as worthy. Dunlith Lothakoth Hersnaie Murat Shandronas Lethereal Tetsunai Just remember, cats and kittens, this list is far from done. We welcome further suggestions. EDIT: And then, of course, had I read the new additions to the HOF, I'd see how brilliant I was.
spiegel06
What about -Red-'s Monk Daemian? I believe he should be in the hall of fame. What do you think? \
Ex-D&Der
Condeath can't be a factor, since most HoF's never took enough deaths to get anywhere near condeath. Having something named after you is an honor, but it doesn't necessarily mean you should get into the HoF. It's sort of like winning the MVP or Cy Young Award doesn't necessarily get you into the hall. The HoF has separate criteria that have to be met. Also I would suggest that IMMs recuse themselves from votes concerning their own morts. Sticking to characters who originated after the original hall, I would say Charim, Tetsunai, and Messalantha are no-brainers. I would also nominate Kentry, Andolini, Flamus, Shandronas, and Tyroa. These are all rock-solid characters who for all intents and purposes seemed as though they were simply real creatures and part of the MUD. They were absolutely unflappable, no matter what the situation, and they helped lay down the cornerstones of the game while they were playing. Pali
Flamus was pretty awesome... I remember surprising the crap out of him with Asniar when I was level 48. Don't recall why, but he attacked me in Rheydin with his opening attack dropping all my spells... I fled, tossed back up sanc/mana shield, he summoned me into one of the Dragon Inn rooms, I proceeded to ice storm him to death... and we sat and talked for a few minutes afterwards, with him seeming totally amazed... I think he said something like "How did this happen? I have fought five Knights at once and emerged victorious, and a lone gnome is the death of me?" Man I wish I still had my 1.0 logs... Hegemon
Sereniel, Irpel, Isabeau (even though I hated her), Cariousus, Marty, Messalantha, Vanicus, Poplin, Acaiti (sp?), and dirty, dirty Azantar.
Zrothum
[joking] Dharg from 2.0 Definitely had an impact on overall gameplay and community, he changed the way people looked at MUD "cheating" and forever shaped the judicial system for years to come. Knight leader too! Awesome PK, no matter which of the 4 people were playing him. [/joking]
Tantangel
I say all Heroes still. Messalantha was definitely someone to be in there. Vanicus I hated him so with how he assassinated with ease. Martinieus from what I hear.
Imoutgoodbye
Irpel! Irpel! Irpel! And....IRPEL! He gave me poor Syndicate hugs when he was sad from being beat down by Nexus and Knight and Justice.
Icor
Irpel crashed and burned for rule-breaking though, and I'm totally not proud of it. Sereniel was better. =D

Ex-D&Der
N.b. I would also suggest that the HoF get its own web page on the site, if it's not already planned.
