Im very exited. After 2 years of commuting 45 minutes to where I go to college, I am finally leaving the nest and moving down to San Marcos for my Junior year at Texas State University. (GO BOBCATS!) Im moving next Friday and cant wait. Im rooming with one of my fraternity brothers that is a jazz studies major on stand-up bass/electric bass and a sound recording tech guy that I was in salsa band with. Its gonna be sweet. So, what are some things that I probably will forget that I shouldnt? Any comments on moving since I have never done it?

Always keep the essentials in your house too, peanut butter, jelly, eggs, milk, sugar, bread, butter, bacon and some canned food. The biggest dealbreaker to living on your own is knowing how to budget and the most misleading thing that people screw up on is food. If you eat out alot you're going to be spending alot more of your hardearned (or hard loaned) money on **** that you could just make for yourself.

Yuck, oatmeal is cinnamon paste. Ramen noodles is the breakfast of champions. The dinner of poor folk, but the breakfast of champions.
