Short and Furious Posted August 5, 2007 Report Share Posted August 5, 2007 its been a while for me. aging does not seem to affect stats now (melee characters rejoice!)? also it seems the general attitude for perks... well addict is suppossed to be the overpowered granddaddy. seems like everyone's a junkie as far as i can tell. power-gaming or roleplaying? i can think of a few passives that i would consider good. also, the 'adventurer' perk... does this get you to 50 faster or give you a more favorable PK range or both? unsure if this question can be answered, just got back and MAY have known the answer at one point. in any case its good to be back. happy ganking/roleplaying! oh, doesn't anyone roll zerks or warriors anymore? seems all i see is blademasters (and i see a LOT of blademasters). -SaF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Aulian Posted August 5, 2007 Report Share Posted August 5, 2007 Hey... Ah yeah, I can say that there are alot of people picking addict, but its not as many as you think.. There are a few other perks out there that I would say for certain race and classes far trumps that of addict. Secondly, everyone managed to smoke things before that came long, why sacrifice your PERK for something that was managable before? Thats called laziness and with laziness comes failure.. As for aging, yup thats changed good and well now.. It should no longer affect your characters in anyway. And yes, there are alot of blademasters.. Warriors (ogre) are playable, if very short-lived after they lose their eq. Berserker...ha...............don't bother! I still think they are probably one of the, if not the, worst pking class. They do - however - take quite a bit of effort if you want to be a 'terror' with one. That and there are certain class vs zerk matchups that are very, very hard on the berseker.
