Yeah I know what you mean... it's all about fighting preference though IMO.

I mean, if you really don't want to die, simply fight far away from your temple, and never let your hp drop less than 200hp. Unless you've cure critical of course.

Not any person, just those with staves. Don't think the consumables are really all that great though, think cure serious, though even if they are cure critical it's not a whole lot and you're stuck having to get a lot of them. I should really get those though, it'd be worth it in instances that I've been dealing with lately.
