Mister E
My first two pinns were ninjas. They are great to learn. Detect hidden and invis, hide and invis, assassinations.. You learn about eq and supplies and can be quite dangerous even if you are not the most experienced player.
Warpnow
Its a ****ty why to die because from an rp point of view, I have to stay and defend by group with my spellls, while the dk kills me cuz I am so consumed with helping my groupies. Pali
Its a ****ty why to die because from an rp point of view' date=' I have to stay and defend by group with my spellls, while the dk kills me cuz I am so consumed with helping my groupies.[/quote'] If you die because you run out of mana casting sanc at 30, that's your fault. If you die because you didn't flee to heal yourself, or flee to keep yourself alive, that's your fault. Doesn't stop it from being a crappy way to go, but keep blame where it's deserved. Tantangel
I'd have to agree with Pali. Just because you're a Healer doesn't mean you have to save everyone elses lives and not your own. And blaming that on other people for PKing you is rather shallow. I can understand if the PKer was in the range of your gruop mates and attacking them, but if the person is just attacking you, then that's your problem if you die, because you had ample time to flee/recall/gate as a healer. Warpnow
I am talking about when they come up, attack my group mates..I sanc them, sanc the third guy, and start healing the tank. Meanwhile, I am healing the guy he attacked, because he chose to attack the nontank class(which almost always happens) and so I run out of mana rather than let him die because he won't flee. It would be out of my character to just flee and LET him die, so I stay until I have like 20 mana... It happens more than you think...
Chayesh
The situation you described is the absolute antithesis of trashy PK.
Pali
The situation you described is the absolute antithesis of trashy PK. Agreed. Choosing to go into 3 on 1 odds when one of them is a healer is ballsy as hell and deserves props.
Warpnow
I wasn't saying it was trash, just a ****ty way to die for the healer.
Pali
Yes, but still the healer's choice. If it was your RP to die in that situation, it's not really a ****ty way to die. As a player, you should be proud of yourself that you're willing to stick to RP over staying alive.
Chayesh
I wasn't saying it was trash' date=' just a ****ty way to die for the healer.[/quote'] Actually, that's exactly what you implied by saying next that when someone does what you believe is a "good PK", you don't get mad, you just resuit, implying that the situation you described prior is not a good PK. My point is that it's a great PK for the reasons Pali mentioned.
