I definitely do think remorting from 30 instead of 50 would make for a pretty interesting "landscape" change in FL.
As for avatar: if the best direct correlation is undead/demon, why not have the same application format/style and convert them over at 30? It would make for some epic level 30 wars between avatar and undead/demon wannabes.
As for everything be remorted at 30? Sure, why not. But the fact still stands. DKs -> Vampires possibly have the most similar skill set from class to qclass, and it's okay to remort at 30. Same with rangers -> druids.
Crusaders, Liches & Psions?
Lvl 30 remort to Psi with 17 int/18 wis (for example) will have 62 practice sessions and 9 training ones, if he hasn't trained/practiced anything. Whipe out all he has practiced and give him back those. Is it THAT hard to grasp this?

Crusaders, Liches & Psions? Considering the amount of classes they can be before they remort to their ultimate qclass, the skills and spells they might or might not receive will not be similar or even close to useful after remort. Dropping back to 1 (whether it be at 30 you get it, or 50) is the best possible solution.

When you remort, you keep common skills at the level they were pre remort (once you reacquire them) but you earn practices and such just like a normal ranking class....
The ONLY thing that changes remorting from 30 vs 50 is the number of skills you have the opportunity to learn before the remort happens.

you guys are completly overlooking say..the difference between a human and a demon stats wise. Now the specifics are taboo, but I can tell you its different, and gains are effected proportionally

You could have an deroll/reroll at Demonization.
In fact, i would just wish we had HP/mana based on D&D system, where you have a roll value that is only dependent on your class and then you get added X from CON bonus.
This would make CON damage much more interesting.

Sure didn't forget stats. Again, I don't think there's a difference from being a human at 50 and going to a lich at 1 or being a human at 30 and going to a lich at 1. That's the main "remort" where stats are involved. As for Demons and such: This change wouldn't have any impact on them at all.
Current Remort Classes (Psi, Crusader, Lich) -> Remort at lvl 30 instead of 50
Current QRaces (and Avatar) -> All granted by lvl 30 instead of Av at 50
Current lvl 30 QClasses (Vampire, Sorta Druid) -> Stay the exact same
I hope that makes sense. This change wouldn't impact any remort issues other than not being able to have skills gained after lvl 30 already practiced and trained.

The idea is remove the motive people stay at 30 PKing.
This way they will PK at pinacle if their APP has not yet been approved, interactiong with other characters.

I'm of the opinion that it will add a new wrinkle to rp at 30. People who don't rp at 30 don't get what they want. Now we give the "bloodthirsty qapps" other "bloodthirsty qapps" to focus on both RP and PK, and it allows the normal ranking person a little breathing room.
I just love the idea of it creating a deep history between characters long before pinnacle.
And Mya - there are so many reasons being 30 when you are awarded qrace is more beneficial to you. I think you'd find far fewer people even trying if they had to get to 50 first (it takes away much of the allure).
Another idea I have always had is to basically do away with level restrictions on Q-anything. Maybe have to apply >=15 but that way as everyone complains about , there will not be a shelf of madness at lvl 30. You simply get it once you have been noticed, and how soon in your chars life will be upto you.
you are lvl 20 and rp your tail off you might get a demon then. You chose to skip some ranking and focused on rp, etc. You do power rank away and rp little you might not get it til you have been at pinn for 100 hrs, maybe never.
