You're a freshman in college now?

Take my advice. Get out. Quit playing for a month or two and spend as much time getting involved with clubs/groups/etc as you can. You'll appreciate life a lot more in the end.

You can come back when you've broken the habit of high school "play for 6 hours every day," but until then do yourself a favor and have fun meeting people and enjoying the best years of your life that are soon to come (if you let them).

LMAO

when your idea of "intense" is playing a trumpet in the rain.....

My teenage, pre-high school soccer and football teams NEVER stopped practicing. Rain or snow.

you REALLY need a life bro. College is gonna turn your world upside down and you will thank god for it everyday.

haha, yeah I played soccer from age 4 through 24 (27 now). Actually resuming play because of my son and his rec-league (of which I am a volunteer trainer).

Rain nor sleet nor slow nor blistering heat can deter soccer practice/games. Only thing to stop a game is if there is lightning. Heck a muddy water logged field at practice means its time to work on slide tackles and piss off the soccer moms that have to wash all the gear bwuahaha.

Have fun in school! Best advice you can have is to lay off the mud, stay away from mmorpg's, and get involved in your life. College is a volitile time in anyones life, you learn a lot about a reality that at home you never even new existed.

Its so funny, looking back, as a parent and adult now at the decisions and predispositions I had when I was in my teens. Man I was so ignorant, its not even funny. Whats REALLY ironic is I find myself telling my cousin (who looks to me for advice) things my parents told me that I didnt listen too...haha..life by its very nature is so ironic.
