PK lessons on test port.

I recommend this: Create a character with the sole goal of condeathing, and doing it fast. Be violently aggressive, and do not get atatched to your wares. Each death you should count on a full loot. learn t pk in utter crap, with the ability to get l33t gear all the same. Roll the opposite of what is currently in power and roll with it. Throw yourself at everything that has a pk flag, with RP justifying it of course, and log it. review the logs to see where the pk changed direction. Now when I read my logs I can ALWAYS see when a pk swings to favor my opponent. I recommend a zerk, or warrior. Learn all the consumables. As a melee char you have access to flesh armor, armor, shield, stone skin, sanc, pass door, flight, and enlarge. You also have access to a very easy to gather curative item. Learn to use them.

Learn to judge tics. Catching an hour of sleep can mean victory in the face of defeat. Another thing is don't be afraid to sometimes just let your nuts hang out. Sometimes if your at pretty hurt, and they are at big and nasty, you just need to say **** it, use berserk and go for the throat. Don't be scared of a loss. You will get better, you have to lose the stigma you have given yourself. Don't look at some decked cabal elder like he is some untouchable god, look at him like he is the plasm beast carrying your armor. You would be amazed how often doing something unexpected will win a fight.

Do not listen to all this crap advices, the preparation is the key to the victory. If you catch opponent offguard you don't even have to chase.

The nameless is right here, all I have learnt from PK is from the many deaths I have encountered

You actually know anything about PK?

to a point you are correct, but you should also not train yourself to only fight unprepped people

What is the point of fighting people you got the drop on ?

That is good for padding your record and earning basic PK experience. But once you become a veteran, start giving people time to prepare. It's quite more interesting.

And people, Post your PK logs. How do you espect to get help, if you do not ask for it.

I find I learn nothing from such encounters, and If an opponent is obviously undergeared and ill prepared I tend to give them extra time and dont chase them when they run. Never found much love for the "crush everyones hopes" approach to FL.

100% agree. Sure as a newbie you might feel good crushing someone who you caught pants down. But that feeling pales in comparison to crushed a decked cabal T/E/L who knew you where coming, and could do nothing about it.

Ah, seems I was wrong and WMs loose lives and con as soon as they can choose their subcabal.

As soon as they ENTER a subcabal.
