If you get loans and such, do your best to get a C in the classes, otherwise they usually require you pass at least 75% of your classes with a C average or better, otherwise they can take them away. Also if you dip below a certain GPA you could lose them as well. You probably wont be able to change them just now (and if you can, probably not the best idea since you'd go to other classes that probably are already way ahead and you wouldn't catch up either). Best just to ride them out and get into study groups and hope for the best. If you don't get very far with them, time to jump to the best of the options which is go to your professor. Surprisingly enough from what I found out, a lot of professors don't have their students running to them for help except in very difficult classes, and even then they usually have time for you. My first semester I had the worst class ever (Philosophy 201 Intro to Logic) which about half way through the semester I sucked it up and went to him for help because I wasn't passing at all without some kind of help (by then I pretty much could've got an A on everything and still not passed the class) and I spent about 25 hours every week on that one class both during his office hours, tutor time from his tutor and my own time going over things repeatedly until I got it drilled into my head (for some sick reason I found it fun when I understood it) and I went to the final exam thinking I'd do at least decent. First two problems I got to I went blank, finally remembered what to do and knew that one of them closed but one didn't and neither of them closed. Well I happened to memorize the first two problems and went to my next class, went over it in my head and on paper and realized it was the first one that closed and where and why I got it wrong. I emailed him once I got home about the mistake I made (not many professors really do this except rare situations) and he said he'd take that into account. Despite the fact I was going to fail the class anyways, I still did my damnedest to try and at least come out of it with some kind of fight. I ended up passing the class with a C, and I never enjoyed a class half as much as I did that one again.

Moral of the story, go get help if you need it even if you think you're prepared you may not be.
