Just thought I'd show you guys my latest brew. It's a high-gravity extract bear.

It's called "Samuel L Jackson's Bad Mother ****er Ale"

http://adamrthegod.net/gman/samjackson.jpg

It's an American Red Ale (California Ale Yeast) with 5 pounds munich malt, 2 pounds of dark-roasted malt and cascade seasoning hops. I also added 14oz (by weight) corn sugar to the wort to raise the gravity and boost the alcohol content.

Why is it called what it's called? If you've ever seen Chappelle's show, you know why having a beer based on Sam Jackson is hilarious. If you haven't, then watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=PHuOvRat7tc .

If you're wondering why my beer is dark and Chappelle's Samuel Jackson Beer is light (probably a pilsner), my answer is simple. Samuel L Jackson is a bad mother ****er, and he's black. That's what my beer is all about. The alcohol in it is around 8%, although my hydrometer shows it to be a tad lower (I think my initial reading was a bit off).

There you have it. My masterpiece. Oh, it'll be ready to drink in a week. It'll taste really good in about 3. Anyone in TX that is willing can come to Austin and sample it.

Nice. I'm going to piggyback on this thread when I get some time to post some pics of my batches.

Wish mine were going to be done in 3 weeks... My cherry melomel has got a few month aging left. My acerglyn has another six to eight months before it's ready. My chocolate vanilla metheglyn has a good eight months left.
