killalou
Yeah I saw this on yahoo when I was checking my mail today, it looks kick-***. That guy said there will be a fatality though....lol do they sign death contracts? But then again whats to stop a tribal warrior from sidestepping and placing a dagger in your back because you challenged him?
BigPapa
Watched it last night. They all got their arses kicked by the locals. I did like the scraping of thier skin with piranhas teeth till they bleed then filling in the wounds with salt and chili peppers. They really took it to the little English Lad. All in all, I give it a solid B. Next week looks better with the Zulu warriors and the stick fighting. I'd imagine they are going to get better and more intense every week. Kinicky
Yeah. To be honest, I expecting teh grappling to be more intense. Dangerous. Winning by grabbing a leg, taking the back, rolling the person onto their back seems... pansy. But then, I'm used to grappling where you tap out because they ar eabout to break yoru arm, or choke you out. Next week, however, looks pretty hard core. I read up a little on Zulu stickfighting. Turns out that to win, you have to make you ropponent both bleed AND surrender. So you have to injure them, and break their will. Sounds pretty brutal. BigPapa
Yep, Did you hear the preview, the big guy Brad, was saying " I don't know about this, I have a wife and daughter!" You also saw one of the warriors with a skull fracture that was bleeding profusely. Should get better and better.
Kinicky
How twisted is it that we get excited about this stuff? Makes me wonder about my generally compassionate outlook upon humanity.

killalou
This week was pretty interesting with the grappling and all. Grappling isnt really my style but it was a good fight. I thought the fitness goru (forgot his name) fought better than Brad did. Lol that was funny when the enemy warrior through dirt in Brad eyes in the first fight! Next week is more to my liking. Those zulu warriors are crazy! Dueling + wearing a shield...now thats more like it!
BigPapa
What is up!! The Zulu stick fighting previews looked great, but most of the "athletes" were in complete defensive mode. I think they should have picked some crazy Mother (*& 's to compete instead of what they have. The guy who won the stickfighting was the best defensive fighter, but again Brad was the only one to push forward and win by making his opponent step out of the ring.. Next week high altitude running in homemade sandals.. The bodybuilder is done in for sure!!
