HBWillie and the Cowboy bandwagon

Ever since I saw Ware lay the smack down on Reggie Bush Bush's rookie year in an exibition game, I liked him. But we still have Brady, Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Ellis Hobbs (Record Holder), Vince Wilfork, Probably the best offensive line in football, and oh yeah, Richard Seymour is coming back, need I go on?

We're going to be realistic, the cowboys are a good team. Not nearly good enough to go undefeated. Especially with their QB with a history of blowing things, and on the 14th they play us. What exactly, in terms of their weapons, are they going to do against us, specifically our defense and special teams.

To rephrase: What are they going to do against our vast wealth of footage of your play-calling, audibles, and hand signals?

I can't believe this cheating thing has been so successfully ignored by the vast majority of America. Any other sport and Bill would have been canned.

If you can truly find three clean coaches in the NFL I'll give you a dollar. After the incident 66% of the coaches anonymously admitted to doing the same thing in a survey sent out, the rest lied.

And for your big name defenders I'll give you that. No way we're running the ball to the right, ever. Ware's pass rush is also going to put a lot of pressure onto Tight End Ben Watson. We may also end up running two tight since we can also rely on TE Kyle Brady, who I would pit against Ware blocking any day of the week. Also I don't think the Dallas secondary can deal with our deep reciever core. Who is going to cover Moss? Double up on him? Hi, meet Wes Welker.

Want to run on us? Have fun getting by our front line, backed up by Mike Vrabel. Going to pass? Many of our linebackers have just as many if not more int's than most cornerbacks. Not to mention Asante Samuel and Ellis Hobbes.

Ok, maybe it is a little sneaky and underhanded. But seriously, where in ANY rulebook/revised code is it said he cannot do that? people record games and play them back. People watch how other teams play, who are hot recievers, what routes get used more, how backs like to run, how blockers lead. I agree it is a bit dishonest, but definately not cheating

Actually it is specifically against league rules to videotape the other team's signals. That's why Belichik was fined $500,000 and the Patiots $250,000, as well as losing draft picks.

That said I sincerely doubt the videotaping accounts for much of the Patriots' success. That has more to do with a style of coaching that is very well suited to the salary cap era. Screen passes, exploiting weaknesses, and quality players at every defensive position. As opposed to the old-style superstar running back, mayday quarterback, and crushing pass rush.
