CruelEdict
Ron Paul, 100%. I can't foresee a Dem winning, especially given the choices. Obama and Clinton? No way. At best, we get a mediocre Rep. To be honest, I am never satisfied come election day. Choosing the least awful of the two isn't my ideal way to find a leader for the US. elfdude
Voting Obama, honestly, who the hell would have expected a black man to be in the forerunning for president this year. I am not racist at all but I just think its crazy/sweet. I don't really like either of their "stances" on gun control and I have never or will never consider voting for a republican. We need more legit third parties damnit.
goldbond
a black prez would be cool as hell, unfortunately when you consider what his platform is, pretty much the same and both edwards and clinton, the entitlement/statist flavor leaves a real bad taste. i do understand the guiding principle of (D) thought, one of "charity," "equality" of sorts which is accomplished by expanding the size and scope of the Federal government, and in the process increasing the taxes placed on us. then these revenues are redistributed to people that the govt asserts needs these monies. but rl doesn't work that way, and this effort results in less individual liberty and further astray from the Constitutional guidance our founders laid for us. smallman
In this poll, I voted Gore. 2000 was a fateful year indeed; I vivdly remember the rainy limo ride through crowds of protesters at the inauguration. Realistically, an Obama/Edwards ticket would be for me. Or possibly Obama/Clinton, as seems more likely, though I doubt HRC would be happy with VP. Questioner
Let me just put out there that Hillary Clinton proposed to pass a bill that would force businesses to pay an even higher tax if they have twenty-six employees or more. And every year, each employee has a government enforced six-to-seven sick day leave. This is coming from the woman who has never run a business in her life and is still married to the man that cheated on her, lied in front of the entire world, and was a traitor to the country (sold military secrets to the chinese). Go figure.

Pali
Need to add Stephan Colbert to that list. Someone needs to make a Stewart/Colbert ticket happen for this election. Almost sad as it may be, I think they'd have a damned good chance of winning.
Guest Valganti
And as sad as it may be, they would be the least pathetic democrat, and actually have some balls.

Raargant
And as sad as it may be' date=' they would be the least pathetic democrat, and actually have some balls.[/quote'] It's easy to have balls when you do not need to worry about accountability. Guest Valganti
Accountability was lost in all world-wide politics long ago. The point of voting for them is, they don't try to hide that fact with a bunch of BS.
Ex-D&Der
It's easy to have balls when you do not need to worry about accountability. Exactly--it's one thing to be appealing as a comedian, another thing to stake out a viable constituency as a politician.
