Vobbe
Hi everyone! Ive been away from the game for quite some time so my memory concearning the whereabouts and such are rather clouded. Havent rolled up my first "return char" yet and I´m interested in playing anything melee or semimelee, any one have some nice suggestions? Regards Vobbe
Mister E
Knight could use some help I think. Maybe an ogre warrior or ranger would be good there.
Montahg
Not a whole lot of pallies roaming around right now...heck, not many goodies roaming around at all!
Evangelion
Roll an uncaballed human bard, who seeks to dominate the world with naught but a quill and mandolin.
Kinicky
If you are having a hard time remembering whereabouts and such - especially considering the fact that a lot of location changes have taken place in the last year or two - I would recommend a paladin. I say this because of their great survivability, which is good for re-exploring, and the fact that they are less EQ dependant than any of the other melees. Until you re-acquaint yourself with where good EQ is, a pure melee is going to be tough.
Vobbe
Thanks for the quick answears, been comming back here several times since I started playing around 2000. Things seem to have changed ALOT, ferals and warmasters using magic?! Blademasters and I dont know what
CruelEdict
Elf Paladin Knight. Do it and rock it hard.
Vobbe
So its the goodies who require help? Good ogre btw? Awsome combo, never tried that one!
Lexi
Syndicate and Savant need as much help as Knight. Maybe Warmaster too.
Montahg
The goodies are really lacking ... sooooooo many evils. Lots of Nexus, and I think there are a lot of Nexus that hide their flags as well. I don't know if a cabal can be "full" or anything, but if so, I imagine Nexus has to be damn near close Worse thing is, they *all* rock at pk. Vobbe
Alright then, good ogre warrior sounds like an excellent way to get back into pk shape! If my memory serves me right all battles with ogres are fast, fun and brutal. A horde of darkwalkers and Nexus followers seems like the ideal way to pick up where I left
Questioner
Nexus: 6 Knight: 3-4 Watcher: 6 Tribunal: 4 Savant: 4-5 Warmaster: 3-4 If you aren't prepared to know exactly where to get the right equipment and how to run quickly, prepared to be a toasted ogre. I suggest a cleric or paladin if you choose a goodie.
Vobbe
Well, the best way to figure out if my memory serves me right is problably to throw myself in there. Perhaps the best way to stimulate my memory is to get hammered ALOT!

Montahg
Tell me which ones I am wrong in. Well considering you "CYA" on 3 of them by giving multiple numbers, you're wrong on at least Nexus, and I'm almost positive on Watcher as well. Even with multiple guesses, I believe you are wrong on Warmaster and Knight as well. Hard to debate, since some of them hide their flags, and there have been a few new inductees into cabals very recently.
Implementor Anume Posted October 20, 2007 Implementor Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 Questioner got about half of it right Goodies definitely could use some help.

Vobbe
Well considering my recent "death wish" something ogreish sounds rather fun. A good ogre is something Ive never tried before, and considering how the power seem to be at the lands for the moment goodie seems to be the way to go... perhaps one should try a good ogre zerk? There will most certainly be alot of pain flying in both directions!
CruelEdict
Naw, don't gimp yourself like that. Go Warrior. Or better yet, Ranger.
