mya
Since i never played a Werebeast, i decided to expand my knowledge on them. This is what i know: You can only be neutral. You can only be Ranger (druid) or Berserker. Base stats are 21 19 19 21 20. Hard to roll a 53. You at level 15 can transform to one of the following beasts. Tiger Wolf Bear Falcon This is what i suspect: Beast choosing is random.... At 15 rank i can transform for a long time and can revert back with ease, with what appears to be a very small cooldown timer. What i wish to know is: Will i randomly transform into the beast against my will ? How do i chose to be X beast instead of Y beast. Is there something more i should know ? Aulian
Beasts are assigned randomly. Just the luck of the draw and each one has its perks and its downsides. Much like a beserkers 'panic' - a werebeast will transform automatically when it gets very low on health. Think of it as a defense mechanic. mya
So choosing of the beast, is random. Not affected by class, like: -MAle Berserkers get Bear. -Male Rangers get wolf. -Female Berserkers get Tiger. -Female Rangers get Falcon.
Evangelion
Also, the cooldown timer is affected by how long you stay transformed, not your level.
Kyzarius
you can really piss thieves off by transforming.
Aulian
No its completely random. just the luck of the draw. I suppose if you really want one sort you can just keep re-rolling till you get it.
mya
You can transform when blackjacked ?
Pali
You can transform when blackjacked ? Transforming makes it so you're technically not wearing your eq. Thieves can't pry it off.
Kyzarius
Transforming makes it so you're technically not wearing your eq. Thieves can't pry it off. yeah, you would have to be transformed in advance.
mya
Ok more advanced questions: When i transform i "lose" my eq, but i am still affected by its bonus. If i was dual wielding 2 vuln weapons do i 1) Get number of attacks according to dual wield 2) Get the vulnerability output I assume that i lose every defense except dodge, when changed. 3) What happens when a berserker rages ? Evangelion
1 & 2 - test it and find out. 3 - you keep dodge.
The Wayward Knight
Transform sounds like teh suck against melee classes.

Sort of like a hasted state. 2) You do not get the vuln weapon type, you get pure hand to hand melee damage. 3) Transformed werebeast beserkers can dodge. Kyzarius
My answers are correct. I just didnt include werepower info. Your damage isnt hand to hand, its a predetermined damage type based on your beast. some piercing, some slashing as an example.
Tantangel
I think it's just based off your h2h skill on how well you do while transformed not so much as actually doing damage with your hands.
Kyzarius
2) You do not get the vuln weapon type, you get pure hand to hand melee damage. Oh, I agree Tatangel. The prowess is determined by hand to hand, but the damage is not "pure hand to hand melee damage" its a type determined by the beast.
killalou
Okay then, what I want to say is its physical hand to hand damage, where 1 out of the 4 weretypes can change to do magic attacks.
Aulian
Okay then' date=' what I want to say is its physical hand to hand damage, where 1 out of the 4 weretypes can change to do magic attacks.[/quote'] Now you are giving out were power info Why bother and just spit it all out at the start instead of slowly leaking stuff through in a thread. Kyzarius
I would make more beasts if you could just select the animal..I mean really why not?

Just wanted to justify myself mate. And this is a regular class I dont see why people have to hog information like its gold or something. Its just a game.
