Cycel
You either just finished that book or found about the only way to be able to post that on this forum. You kidding me? Thats the first thing I thought of when I read "lobster".
'tarako
'lol. exactly! If someone just mentions lobsters i think, they asked their questions in a lawyerly voice, "Dad-a-chum?" I finished the series about a year and a half ago, haha.
Tantangel
I didn't even think about it until Tarako posted it. I finished it shortly after the last book came out though.
'tarako
'Yeah, i just rented one book at a time and i read the little authors notes of how long it was taking. I was in despair that number seven would be done when i got to it. course, i never read the year it was published...
Kinicky
What book?
'tarako
What book? *sigh* 'The greatest, IMHO, fantasy/scifi/epic Epic ever. Better then LOTR or wheel of time its The Dark Tower. Book one: The Gunslinger. I believe the lobstrosities are in book two: The drawing of the three. By Stephen King.
corpsestomp
I liked the first three or four, but I had a hard time getting into Wizard and Glass. On topic...I use the alsatian, and stone golem. After lvl 20 or so, any effectiveness has diminished. They don't hit often enough, and don't hit hard. The only thing I can see them used for is being able to flee, while your opponent spends that extra split-second fighting your pets, making them flee or kill off the pets. Cycel
If you're having a hard time getting through Wizard and Glass, pick up the Gunslinger Born comic series by Marvel. Its only 7 issues, and basically just tells the backstory presented in Wizard and Glass, and then some. Then read the beginning and and of WaG to get the rest of the stuff. Tantangel
I found the Wastelands a lot harder to get into than Wizard and Glass. Susanahs's Song or however was another annoying one. The Dark Tower was priceless though. As soon as I got to the end of that I was left baffled, pleased and angry all at the same time.

KRins
this just in: Best mascot ever. Fightin' Squirrels. Makes for a sweet hat too. Too bad it is an all-girls school. Of course visiting my dear cousin is a great couple days. Hell, I even don't mind the 5 hour drive.
Kinicky
Fighting Squirrels? All girls school? Does anybody else derive sexual innuendo from the thought of a woman's fightin' squirrel?
Kinicky
Back on topic - does anyone know where to buy a professional soldier? I was once told Airia, but in searching it, I failed to locate a mercenary block. Thoughts?
songofsixpence
It's in Airia...try looking towards the upper level of the city and to the south. I don't think anything has been changed there. You can also get a flunky at lower levels...always good to have a flunky with you.
Kinicky
Thanks. I found it - in use, it actually seems to be just about the same as the Garnizon, which is a shorter distance to get to.
Mister E
Soldier flies, dunno how much that helps. Also seems to trip and dirt more than a Gharnizon and the Gharnizon seems to bash more...I could be wrong.
