BigPapa
http://assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/agegate.php?destURL=/index.php I saw the extended trailer on the Ultimate Fighter. Kind of reminds me of somewhere...

Hegemon
I thought someone was posting a "farewell post" on a Halloween char, I was about to compliment the name. Not now, though. Now it's become a stern warning to stop wasting my time, and the lingering threat of very bad things happening in the future.
Pali
I just picked this up last night... For the record, it's awesome.
Icor
I'm going to West Towne Mall at about 2:00 PM today to get it, Pali.
Raargant
It looks gorgeous, and the reviews are spectacular....argh...to 360 or not 360, that is the question...
Grishnak
To 360! As microsoft stands with its boots upon the crippled corpse of Sony Games, the Xbox continues to produce excellence that begs to be challenged. The Wii still stands strong in its own light, but they occupy separate niches. Halo 3, AssassinsCreed, Mass Effect, I hear Blue Dragon is great....the list goes on and on and on and on. To 360. EDIT: I forgot Call of Duty 4, Rock Band, and Eternal Sonata to round out the Fall 07 list
Raargant
God...right now, the ONLY thing possibly going for the PS3 in the distant, distant future is the FFXIII/Versus series.
Grishnak
I literally have multiple friends who bought a PS3 and have played ONE game on it before making it exclusively a Blue Ray DVD player.
The Wayward Knight
I just bought it about ten minutes ago, it was either this first, or Kain and Lynch: Dead Men first. Going to get them both, though, unless someone tells me Dead Men isn't worth my money.
Raargant
I literally have multiple friends who bought a PS3 and have played ONE game on it before making it exclusively a Blue Ray DVD player. Yeah...aside from FFXIII, I literally can't think of a single PS3 exclusive that I really want to play. Although the super-cheap Blue Ray functionality is nice... killalou
Yeah this is the only reason im holding out on a PS3 (besides having enough time to play it, lol). There are no games I want to play beside Armored Core 4, and only because I've played the last 10 or so. Im not sure I want an X-box, from what I see most of their games get ported to the PC. The Wii is looking nice, kiddy games are fun too. Besides what exactly is an "adult" game/market.
Mattamue
Re: Rarr's Indecision Have a Wii. Galaxy is fun. Twilight was meant for the cube but I like it - just finished playing it through a 2nd time last week for 110% (It's more fun when you know the solutions to the difficult puzzles. PS: I replay very few console games too. Gorilla War for the NES is one of the few I've played to finish more than once.). Metroid was fun, but won't ever get the replay Twilight did. Wish I had a 360 for Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed (Bioware says they have no plans for a pc release and I cry myself to sleep.). Halo 3 on a friend's console - is a leave it as far as I'm concerned. Friend with the Ps3 has Resistance which annoys me and Rainbow Six Vegas which is fun but is also on every other console. Imo, Wii or 360 (Which is Wii biased with a footnote for having friends with the other consoles. Note the 360's 2 year warranty isn't a 'good' warranty - it's there because they break like skinny hookers.). With that said I can only admit ignorance to Final Fantasy titles beyond seven. I remember a rumor about them being cross platform like last year or something - so I don't know if waiting for a Ps3 just for FF is justifiable. Pali
With the level of graphics Mass Effect looks like it's going to have, you'd need one HELL of a PC to run it anyways.
Nekky
Don't forget Bioshock. Although it's been out for a while I am near to finishing it, and it's one of the best games I've ever played. Still to be released in Australia: Assassin's Creed, Frontlines: Fuel of War, Mass Effect (really looking forward to this one), Kane and Lynch and Blue Dragon just came out. I don't regret my purchase at all. Plus I paid about 400 bucks less than I would have paid for a PS3.
Raargant
Have Bioshock...don't like it that much. Actually planning to Craigslist it for 30 bucks (PC version).

mattrious
I bought The Orange Box for the 360 last night. WOAH!!!!!!!! Drop all games and pick it up. Best thing you will do all year. - Matt.
Icor
Orange Box is still better than everything (I have a bit of an obsession with the Half-Life storyline, which Portal happens to be a part of).

Grishnak
Man I did forget alot. Orange Box ate my soul when I didn't have an IC for a bit. Portal is amazing, simply amazing...I can't wait for a multiplayer spin-off using a Portal-esque Gun. TF2 is a blast. I'm a sucker for a suit and a cigarette. Half-Lifes are so much fun. I'd never really played HL2 until Orange Box and boy am I glad I've gotten the chance to now.
