Pali
Was I the only one who was so incredibly pissed off when Episode 2 ended? Simply because it was ENDING, which meant there wasn't more?
Cycel
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/?p=554 RPS: A trailer for Episode Three was notable by its absence. DS: We deliberately left that out for a number of reasons. One was we didn’t want to dilute the moment of the ending. I think if you’d watched the credits roll and then this high action Episode Three trailer came on, you wouldn’t quite feel the same. Another reason was to leave us open on Episode Three. We’re going to try and do something pretty ambitious for that project. We don’t want to over commit. If you look at the Episode Two trailer that we shipped with Episode One there’s some pretty radical difference between what you see there and see in finished game. That’s really an artefact of making a trailer for a product that’s still in heavy production. You just don’t know where you’re going to end up. Thankfully, it's not actually going to be the end of the series. Though, I've yet to pick it up...
Icor
Episode 2 was the most beautiful and emotional gaming experience I've had since ... I think it must have been Chrono Trigger?

Malchaeius
Heavenly Sword is gorgeous - but short Metal Gear Solid 4 - will be spectacular Final Fantasy series - has never truly dissappointed God of War III - Nuff said PSP to PS3 connectivity - Play your games anywhere in the world? Yes please. No red rings of death - FTW Ladies and gentleman, I think Sony will be fine, and I have been thoroughly happy with my Playstation 3. Then again, I was never a big fan of Halo. The Wayward Knight
I am now more than halfway through Assassin's Creed (played happily upon my Ps3, thank you.) and it is amazing. Glorious is the best word I can possibly use. The game is ****ing glorious. As for Ps3 games, for multiplayer mayhem available only to the Ps3 you should check out Warhawk. It's pretty amazing. Probably one of the most fun online games I've ever played, seconded only by Call of Duty 4. Blu-Ray gaming capability ensures that the Ps3-only titles will have long, sprawling storylines (which I adore) and massive worlds that could only fit on 30+ GB of disc space, this is a FACT. The last statement was a wish, not a fact.
Raargant
Bit the bullet and bought a slightly used 360 Premium with two controllers (1 wireless), headset, wires/20 gb hard drive, for $250.
The Wayward Knight
That's not an exceptionally large bullet, considering the package..
Raargant
Why'd you think I bit it after promising I wouldn't due to having already bought a $3k computer+monitor?

Live's definitely worth getting as well, even if you don't like playing multiplayer that much. I only play Gears of War on multiplayer, really, but the number of things you can download, as well as Arcade access, is absolutely worth it. The Wayward Knight
Yes. You are. My roommates and I all enjoy kicking back on our apartment's combined platforms (ps3, WII, xbox360 and PC) playing Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Paper Mario, and Warhawk. Mattamue
That has to be a lie TWK. There's no way you could squeeze, gleam, beg, or otherwise rape any enjoyment out of paper mario.
Evangelion
... The first Paper Mario was a fantastic game. Don't know what the heck you're talking about.
Mattamue
If it is enjoyment of Paper Mario then I retract my statement. If it is Super Paper Mario, the paper mario title for the Wii, then I ask you to quit yo jibber jabber.

The Wayward Knight
Well, the Wii is in CT's room, and all he ever plays on it is Paper Mario and Twilight Princess. Consider the enjoyment raped out of those games.

Roykagh
Twilight Princess = Amazing Metroid Prime 3 = Amazing Super Marior Galaxy = Going to be Amazing Super Smash Bros. Brawl = Going to be A-FREAKING-MAZING! I am very satisfied with my Wii. Twilight Princess = Amazing Metroid Prime 3 = Amazing Super Mario Galaxy = Amazing Trauma Centre - Second Opinion = Great game, addictive and challenging Resident Evil 4 = Fantastic Battalion Wars 2 = Apparently fantastic for friend play, will reserve judgement until I get my hands on a copy. Super Paper Mario is... eh. It's alright, but nowhere near as good as I would have hoped. Medal of Honor - Heroes 2, looks as though it'll be good as far as online play goes on the Wii (it's a Wii/PS2 game)... and the graphics look nice for a Wii game too... however I've never really liked Medal of Honor games that much, Call of Duty pretty much owns the war game department at the minute. I'm looking forward to Mario Kart Wii - 12-player online Mario Kart? Versus and battle? It has bikes too, which could be a great move or a bad move depending on how they run with that... Super Smash Bros. Brawl looks like it's going to be amazing, but I don't judge games on hype and previews, you gotta play the real thing... Mario Party 8, believe it or not, is fantastic. Downside? You pretty much need to have a full suite of remotes, a pricey do. I love my Wii. I even got a message sent to my Wii the other day from Marc, and attached to it was a picture of Aulian wearing a t-shirt that says "I love druids". Pieman
Ok, so back to Assassin's Creed, NOT WORTH IT! Game is crap. Sure, it has awesome mechanics, problem is they're all broken. Game amounts to crap, selling it back to gamestop today to buy mass effect.
