Nice, very nice.

I just been playing the Original Super Mario 64, on my Pc, due to the Halloein massacre. And it is great.

But it has 2 huge flaws.

Camara system.

The camera angles killed me more than anything. Horrible camera angles, that break your depth perception and block behind walls or corners.

Control system.

The triple jump is a crap. I never manage to do it ok.

The long jump has a bad key sequence.

When you press back, mario take a big turn, insted of just rotating on spot.

This has killed me so many times at the edge of a platform.

If you press it very fast it insta turns, but if you press it bit by bit he goes foward for the turn and you drop.

to a point, the controls were a little less smooth than ou could hope, the fact mario has to turn in a ten foot circle was also one of my major gripes.

Lol, common guys. You're taking a game that, in every respect of the word, was revolutionary to the 3D platforming genre and comparing it to the modern standards and inovations of the type.

Srsly, plz guyz. That was about ten years ago. No one at the time hoped or griped, and without its flaws, although totally forgivable by the non-anal, actually help continue to improve the better games you play today.

In closing, I'm glad Mario couldn't turn around without drawing an arch of ten feet.

.....Spoiled brats.

No, games back in the day where about plability. Not graphics.

Ever played commander keen 4 ? Exelent game, controls are nice.

Ever played Doom ? Exelent game, they tested Deathmatch pre to releasing.

They adjusted the Missile speed to be just a bit above Player speed.

Attention to detail to make game enjoyable to play.

Nitendo did a good job on Mario 64, but there were some bad options:

The large turn radius was one of them.

I think one of the resons this Mario is set in space, is because in space the camera angles are not afected, as you have huge open spaces.

Remenber the Gosth Mansion in Mario 64. I hated that because of the camera angles.
