Cabals question.

'why doesn't watcher have armies? What's the point of armies?

Watcher doesnt have armies because they are a raid oriented cabal.

Different cabals earn their "cabal points" different ways. All cabals get bonus CP for killing members of enemy cabals and collecing bounties from allied ones. Syndicte gets them as well for raids and so does watcher. Whie Tribunal get them for defending against the raids.

The other cabals who use armies, Savant, Warmaster, Nexus, Knight recieve a certain amount of these cabal points at a rate per hour. The more land they control the better this rate. In addition to land, holding an enemies standard causes this rate to rise to a surged peak of gain, and it begins tapering back down to their normal rate after the standad has been rescued. A cabal also loses ALL cabal powers when their standard is taken.

Cabals use these points to use their cabal powers, purchase the "benefits" offered by the cabal, and purchace armor and cabal only scrolls/wands/staves

In truth I have no idea how herald gains theirs (I believe it is the 1 cp per 2.0 hours), but they also are less pressed to eat up the points since they are rarely at war.

There are other ways to get massive cp at once, but I will leave that to game discovery, though know that the means does exist.

Anyways, hope that cleas things up a little without violating the more intricate nature of cabals.

Syndicate' date=' at least last I heard, does not have to defend their standard if they do not choose to show themselves as a Syndicate.[/quote']

Not true - my last Syndicate was told they had to defend, just like all other cabals.

If you could take anyone's standard (like 1.0) then the Heralds standard would be taken more. Right now there are certain condiditions that must be met before you can capture someone's standard.
