HBwillie
Of training dual parry?
Nomak
Do not practice dodge and whip, wield a whip and go master it.
Aulian
yup, offensive weapon in first hand, high defensive/parry weapon in the second... Aka whip dualing a dagger/sword. Not having practiced other defences like dodge helps, but it isnt essential, might just take you a wee bit longer.
Warmongrel
yeah, I used to wait on all defenses till I was done with dual parry with the old training system, but now it's not worth waiting, not that hard to master dual parry anymore doing it the way they just said to. Takes longer than most defenses, but atleast if you have the others practiced you aren't fleeing to rest every few mins. Dont Forget to Vote! corpsestomp
I do it the same way I do dual parry. Whip/dagger.
Nomak
'whats the best way to train riposte? The easiest way is not to practice dodge,it would go faster if so.Then wear two demon talismans, wield a weapon that you haven't practiced and go to the scarecrows. They are much better than the minots. songofsixpence
I usually have dodge trained by the time I hit riposte. I find it too much of a bother to rank that high without having the extra defense. But what I do is 1-2 demon tals and then anything I can get to drop my hitroll to negatives or near negatives. Dual whips (skill unpracticed) and go fight a bunch of scarecrows. Mastered it like that on an ogre in about 45 minutes total I think. Goes pretty quick as long as you can avoid people pking you. Mudder
Why two whips? Go with one.
Celerity
Yeah, just one one-handed low-defense weapon for riposte and as said above, one low-defense weapon in primary and a high-defense weapon in secondary, whip/dagger being best for dual parry
songofsixpence
*shrugs* never cared to test what worked well enough for me. also, only played two warriors high enough, and only one was when i cared to train.
