Greetings ladies and gents

Hey hey.

Received a message from someone the other day asking what cabal would be preferable for a evil human cleric (of which I acted like a snob and ignored the person altogether) which reminded me of this place.

Decided to check out the website and see whats happening and how she is still kicking around (the world we know as Aabahran) after the couple of years I haven't really been in touch. Pleasantly suprised, it appears things are going quite well.

Thought I'd drop by here and say a quick hello, hopefully some of the old timers will remember me (whether for good or bad reasons is irrelevant).

Not been around for a while, alot of the reason being I just lost interest (of which has moved towards much more..... expensive, yet not quite as time consuming, hobbies - namely my car (Toyota MR2) and the maintenace of a relationship.

Really could use some stimulation of the mind currently though, so a trip by the Forsaken Lands could be enjoyable again, but I have a feeling that the woman would be most unimpressed if I became addicted once more.

Good to speak to you all again, keep safe.

James (AKA Totenkopf)

Stay away man, you sound like you have a good life going right now. I popped in just to say 'Hi' and now I've got over 60 hours in a character, and I dumped a few other characteres with over 30 just 'see what's changed' Remember the addicition, and ask yourself 'Is it worth it? Is instilling a sense of frustration on a person you've never met, halfway across the globe, so that he or she smashes their keyboard on the desk, worth it?' Oh Yeah, it is.

Seriously though man, It's really good to hear some of the vets are out in the real world doing well. And if you deciede to come back, it'd be great to see you around Aabahran again.

Thanks, Magick. You now owe me $5 for infringing on my trademark.

Tot, one word. Liches.

Wow, never thought they'd arrive. Good work to the coding team!

Now, I don't even know the requirements for such a character, and if pk skills is a prerequisite, count me out, I can imagine I'd be very lacking in that regard, though I do miss the place and think about it every now and again, but yes, it needs to be done.

Thats funny psycho, I also have a 93 model, turbo with a bit of engine work (big GT35R strapped on there).

Don't guess your much big into them and frequent the MR2OC forums?

Anyhow, might see you in game, but I cant see myself being able to stay more then 1-2hr stints, unlike my old 10hrs straight garbage.

I actually logged in on the only char that hasn't been idle purged (Old psionicist for any that remember) to catch up on notes/changes etc last night after posting here, took me about 50 tries to remember my password :)

Anyway, have fun guys, gotta fly.

Totenkopf (Tater, dunno where that came from :D)

Tatertot came from me, buddy. Greylin was the old handle. Haven't see you much on the messenger either, but I'm never on their anyhow. Got this Triellien thing that's down right annoying when you're on. For those who don't know, it's a messenger that combines MSN, AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo(and maybe some other, I don't know) Into one messenger and has all the icons from each, I believe. Kind of neat, but annoying. Anyhow, funny you popped in, because I was actually going to try to get a hold of you. Me and some friends were considering flying out down there to surf for a week. Remember you mentioning that if I was ever in the neighborhood*snicker*. Anyways, it's good to see you around man. Hope you're relationship's stayin' strong, as I remember last we talked things were going pretty good then.

Im from Australia?

Anyway mate, I am actually unemployed at the moment. Was working a couple of jobs (one full time) and then decided to move 1000km to be closer to my girlfriend just recently. So I do have a bit of spare, time, though no net connection at my place (currently at my girlfriends house, here over half the time anyway) and my PC is inoperable right now (motherboard blew up, yay).

Still got my copy of zmud on there (on my drive that isn't in a RAID array, so I should be able to hook it up to a PC over here and leech it off).

Anyway, gotta head down to the shops, might swing on later and see whats changed.

Have fun guys,

James.

Well keep in touch man, I now live a couple of hours from Sydney (as opposed to about a half hour out of Brisbane where I used to live), got a spare room at the place I stay so if you were down this way, give me a bellow before you come and I'll hook you up with some details.

EDIT: Hehehe a Hyundai, oh, and skylines are far too overdone, especially in Australia. I had an MR2, someone ran up my arse wrote it off, I bought a Celica GT4 (Alltrac celica for you yanks) and then went back to an MR2 (have a bit of a love for them, probably only mid mounted engine car I'll ever be able to afford :D)

Haha, I hate you yanks and kiwis.

Turbocharged MR2's were never released in Australia, and now due to new import laws they are impossible to import from Japan (mine was imported back in 98 though, luckily).

Basically our law states that if a common variant (the natural aspirated mr2 in this case) was released in the country then the cars aren't available for import.

This in turn rams up the price of such cars, due to them being in limited stock (NZ are lucky, they have VERY lax import laws, USA had them sold there locally).

Paid a bit over $20000AUD for my car, and that was after scamming him down 4thou or so.

Less tidy/modified examples sell for as little as $12-13000 (1989 model, first of the SW20's) due to the fact up until may last year (I bleieve it was, could have been june or july) they were available for import under the 15yo rule, which has since been abolished.

Oh and thats okay Psych, my MR2 would take your Saabs arse any day. Have the turbocharged or naturally aspirated version? Well, assuming you do have the turbocharged version, my car is still producing twice as much power as yours ;):D
