He's joking. The best ways to get around the fire vuln are through great melee defense (for against melee weapons that do fire damage) and great aff saves (for fire spells). Feral start with the first, but the second requires eq.

Let me put in in perspective as a resident feral lover...you hate fire like dwarves hate water.

Although at pinnacle fire is a bit more easily capatalised on then the water vuln in respect to powerful weapons IMO.

I can really only think of a couple weapons towards the high end of damage that can even hit water and one isn't even water all the time and the other one has been out forever.
