I certainly hope you won't... Bad things happen...I once spent over 100 HOURS on a character, waiting for application to be reviewed. My app was accepted, but my goal was more conventional. You really want your biscuits burnt? Try failing the quest and ending up a gimp like I did, but guess what? I learned that I had better damn well care a lot about the char I am about to roll up. It doesn't require one to be hardcore (He wasn't exactly a crazy pk monster... bards back then were mincemeat for anyone). It just requires a lot of excellent RP and a lot of time invested in a char. This is not a game to expect your char to be fully developed in the first 50 hours of play... this is a long-term game where hundreds of hours of development brings out amazing chars. Even though I agree that waits should not be as long as they are, it still requires a certain amount of effort. You could have a great idea, but if it is out of the box then be ready to back it up with lots of rping, time, and a possible unexpected outcome. If at first you dont succeed, try try try again.
