Twinblades713
What if a thief steals from or a ninja assassinates a tribunal. Can he/she mark you WANTED if he never saw who did it? Considering ooc knowledge, (wholist) I wouldn't think that would be a good rule. Just wondering, especially imm input =D They're the ones that judge who's doing their job right. Deykari
If you steal from a Trib and they know somebody is stealing from them (because they're checking their inventory) but you don't get caught then they can't mark you wanted. Using the who list to determine who stole from you is definitely OOC - the player knows who the thief is but the character doesn't. I think with assassinate they see you, right? You step out of the shadows/invisiblity to deliver the blow, much like you were opening with murder? Not sure on that one. Though if the Trib was strangled from the shadows, blinded and thus couldn't see their attacker (even though using the who list it was obvious who it was) I suppose the Trib couldn't mark the ninja wanted - the character doesn't know the killer. I am about 90% certain this is correct, so don't hold me to that for definite... Dey
Twinblades713
That's what I figured and hope will keep true. It's about to get relevant, quick. Thanks.
Minotaur
not to reveal anything about tribunal im not supposed to but i seriously doubt they wouldn't see you in the first place.
Evangelion
If you think that's the case, you obviously don't know as much about Tribunal as you think.
Twinblades713
ALOT of things don't make sense... if tribs can always see hidden.
Mister E
As far a I know they can only mark you if they the crime is seen by their own eyes (or in other words heard like a yell) Or if two lawful witnesses see/hear it. I think you could be a visible thief in the room with one and steal a vial from their inventory while they are spamming i then quaff it in front of them and if they typed who and saw no undetected chars and you were the only thief in their range they still could not want you if the steal was successful. And ninjas stay in the shadows when they assassinate.
Twinblades713
Also, even if theft/murder is evident to a trib, but NOT in a city, same rules right? No beans for the trib? NOT within city limits? Assuming beforehand you weren't wanted...
Mister E
That is more tricky because they have the obstruction clause. Better just to not get caught anywhere
Twinblades713
Of course... of course. But sometimes *cough* there isn't always an option. ^___^
