Aulian
Hey guys, im looking to create a website and I was wondering what useful programs or tools I should be looking out for. Are there any programs like 'frontpage' that are ideal for creating a website? Its going to be nothing fancy but it will be business orientated so I'd like it ot be easy to navigate. Any help would be most welcome. Cheers
a-guitarist
I'm not sure if this will help you at all but check out e107.org I use e107 on my site, and I believe WC does too. You can download templates and layouts to use, and you can modify just about anything you want. It's all php based, and pretty neat. Lot's of cool do-hickies to fandangle with; Forums, IRC Chat, news updates, members, password protection. I'm not sure if there is anything yet for e commerce, but there might be. a-g

Chayesh
SiteSpinner is free (on a trial basis) and pretty easy to use as it is drag and drop without coding in HTML. Dreamweaver is of course a great program, especially if you have several hundreds of dollars to drop on a program. If this is your first project, you might not have the budget. Chayesh
Just to be clear for all the legal eagles out there... This forum does not encourage, condone, or approve of pirating software or any other violations of international copyright laws. Okay, I'm done.
