Minotaur
Holy crap dragon. Dragon slayer took him to a few scratches, and he ripped me a new one.
Guest emp_newb
Yea, black dragon is a beast. The reward you can get is, however, Ultra nice.

English lad
Can you ever have more than one person in the arena for something like this? I.E taking a group mate in to try and beat the Black Dragon
Aulian
Ah, No, its supposed to be personal combat. Plus they shouldnt need a group to beat them - they arent THAT hard from what I remember. Secondly, the reward justifies the effort.
Mudder
Guys... My old halfling Warrior Lirard killed the black dragon easy. Man up!
English lad
I've never actually tried it, the only time i use the arena is at low levels before you have to pay for it if i'm bored, or for the White Staff, I guess I should experiment with it a bit. Grumpy
Well it also depends on what race/class you are. My character currently finds the undead wight harder than the dragon, but my cabal friend thinks the dragon is harder, ye so it depends.

Guest emp_newb
Really it depends on your class and race. A Halfling blademaster can flat out DESTROY the wight no problems. A non gnome invoker with a done up staff can utterly pillage the black dragon, I used to sit in the arena and just stock up on shields and give them to people randomly, then later I would make orders so that they can repay me with interest
Kyzarius
what pisses me off is the undead wight uses turn undead if you an undead... thats just dumb imho.
One Way Up
I remember watching Barnok beat the Dragon after I so miserably tried to with Greylin. Lord....Hydrokensis sucks. He waltzed in a rolled over the Dragon. Thought he was going to lose a couple times, but he always managed to flee and come back swinging. It was pretty cool to watch. One Way Up
Na. I remember a couple of his characters, but I was Greylin. I think the handle I used at the time was The Sly Fox, ZERO.

Guest emp_newb
Voker is by far the most effective class for killing that dragon, most of the time you do not need to flee at all
Zrothum
Zrothum used to wax the dragon. I remember killing it like 20 times in a row trying to get the better of the two prizes.
