I can count seven chars decked out last time I seen them but don't play as much. And quite a few others whom are semi-decked. But I believe a purge is coming up soon so it should help the situation some.

Seems like there is something other than the usual going on. The items that are always there, and also the ones that people don't ever use are mostly gone too. I've also noticed a lot of objects that are there but crumble when the creature dies.

As some of you may or may not know, the number of rares allowed is set in relation to the number of active player files above 15. That number was recently changed after I manually purged a bunch of the old pfiles. So what we are seeing now is a decline in rares which is in direct corrolation to the number of active pfiles.

Moral of the story: Be mad at the people who hoard on multiple characters that only play enough not to be purged.

yea i ran into one of those today, lvl 40 or so chararacter fully decked out that hasn't been around all month, all of a sudden they show up before the purge... lol. Makes me want to kill them....alot.

Wasn't an hours idea suggested sometime ago? Like if someone doesn't play the char X hours, THEN it gets purged. So popping in once a month doesn't save you. I liked this idea.

I was thinking more along the lines of wearing non rares on characters you do not play. Or if you have a character you have not played for more than two weeks, logging on and removing all of your rares and sacrificing them. Basically, stop hoarding just for hoarding's sake.

Yeah, it would also stop people from having a "secondary" pinn to more suitable to take out certain common enemies...but it will never fly. People would cry if they couldn't just log off in the face of 5 enemies, then play their other pinn.

Yes that would be too restricting on the over all time of a player.

I can tell you now, if I was only allowed on pinnacle I would NEVER have played a Herald. Ever. In a million years. Just wouldnt be worth my time or what I enjoy doing, but having him as a character I could alt on has/did make him one of my favourites!
