'tarako
'I became a mac user for college. i am now in a visual basic programming class. It runs on windows. Most other programs I want to use are on windows. I can get a free version of windows xp through miami. Now, the question is whether to upgrade to leopard and use bootcamp, partitioning my hard drive, or making it a virtual machine. Any ideas? suggestions? how to's? Mali
Use bootcamp. But for mudding on a mac, use Savitar.

TheNewGuy
Don't take visual basic courses, that's my 2 cents. It's pure crap anyway.
Quigt
Bootcamp seems like it would be your best option. Augh, I remember having to use RapScallion on my dad's old iMac.
