'tarako
Hello, leaders of Scientology. We are Anonymous. Over the years, we have been watching you. Your campaigns of misinformation, your suppression of dissent, your litigious nature, all of these things have caught our eye. With the leakage of your latest propaganda video into mainstream circulation, the extent of your malign influence over those who have come to trust you as leaders has been made clear to us. Anonymous has therefore decided that your organization should be destroyed. For the good of your followers, for the good of mankind everywhere. You will find no recourse in attack, because for each of us that falls, ten more will take his/her place. We are cognizant of the many who may decry our methods as parallel to those of the Church of Scientology. Those who espouse the obvious truth that your organization will use the actions of Anonymous as an example of the persecution of which you have for so long warned your followers. This is acceptable to Anonymous. In fact, it is encouraged. We are your SPs. Over time, as we begin to merge our pulse with that of your Church, the suppression of your followers will become increasingly difficult to maintain. Believers will become aware that salvation needn't come at the expense of their livelihood. They will become aware that the stress and the frustration that they feel is not due to us, but a source much closer to them. Yes, we are SPs. But the sum of suppression we could ever muster is eclipsed by that of your own RTC. Knowledge is free. We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us. 'So. I know what I'm doing.

Pali
I kinda just wish they'd go after more than just Scientology... it's not like Scientology's that much weirder than most religions.
Kyzarius
The concept of freedom religion escapes some people. If they feel like being religeously passionate about a series of books and dont harm anyone in doing so, let them be.

'tarako
'lol. We arent going after the beliefs of Scientology. Yes. I believe its a cult. But we think that people can believe what they want. What we are doing is taking down the corrupt church of Scientology. Just google operation snowwhite, or operation freakout. They infiltrated the U.S. government. I dont care if they believe in space aliens, they shouldnt charge people hundreds of thousands of dollars to gain enlightenment. That is wrong. They shouldnt force female workers to get abortions so that they can continue working. They destroy families, they kill people. There are good Scientologists out there, but the church itself is corrupt and needs to be brought down. Their policy of fair game needs to stop. Knowledge is power. Arm yourselves. The Wayward Knight
My girlfriend is completely convinced of the idea that the video you posted here is intended to be a joke, and she thinks it is quite funny. I find absolutely NOTHING funny about it, but for the sake of aiding my argument, could you link me to something - anything - that would show her that this is NOT a joke? Quigt
Hey, not all cults are bad. The definition of a "cult" is actually pretty broad.

WagesofSin
Huh? Not sure what the hell that was supposed to be. I agree with Kyzarius though, let them believe whatever the hell they want to. I don't know if there is any credible evidence of the church of scientology infiltrating the gov, forcing abortions, etc. Really, it's a belief system. It's not like they are forcing people to believe in them, if someone is stupid enough to go wasting thousands of dollars on bull**** they need to take responsibility for their own actions. Seriously, when will people start thinking critically?

They can believe whatever they want. we are all about freedom of religion, and freedom of speech. It's the corrupt church that is the issue. Evangelion
I'm sorry, Tarako, but you just used Wikipedia and a variety of other unreliable sources that probably contain many inaccurate articles that are probably posited as facts. The reason I say probably, of course, is because I'm not going to bother to read them. The real fact of the matter is that this "Legion" is doing exactly what anti-anti-gay activists are doing with the WBC. They are giving them publicity and, as a result, feeding their ultimate need and craving for attention, particularly that of the media variety. In the end, unless your "Legion" and/or the "Church of Scientology" are armed with weapons of a higher caliber than words (either A) Guns or Legislative representation), then you will find that, ultimately, you are fighting a futile battle against something that doesn't really exist or matter. People are always going to believe what they believe. People are always going to let what they believe affect the way they act in general and towards others. People are always going to let their character be affected by their beliefs. In short, you are "fighting" for a non-existent "cause", lodging a complaint against an unidentifiable "adversary", and you will inevitably be "defeated" by the whole lot of nothing you accomplish. The Wayward Knight
Not being interested in reading wikipedia isn't a good enough excuse not to educate yourself.
Evangelion
I'm not interested in paying any more attention to a movement like Scientology than I already have - namely reading this thread and hearing snippets about Tom Cruise on the news. I really believe that it's like the WBC. The reason it's gotten so out of control is because people have given it so much attention.
'tarako
'It was out of control before it got attention. We will succeed. We only fail if we stop trying. If we get the word out, educate people, that will open more eyes to the corruption. Knowledge is power. Why not be informed? The links I gave were all gotten in under a minute just using the top link from google. If you would like I'll get the actual police reports, autopsy info, FBI info, ect for you. Well. not the actual ones. Copies that are put online. As to the verifiability's of anything found on the internet, yes, the wiki is questionable. But the facts aren't. If you want more you can either look it up or ask me to.
The Wayward Knight
I think what he's saying is that he's apathetic to the situation, which is the reason why Scientology gets away with so much.
