I have never understood why evils get better/more things than goods. Such as demons for example, why do they need to be giant sized and fly? Why not make them giants and have to worry about getting flight on their own, or give them flight and make them worry about changing their size? Why are there four quest races/classes for evils (undead, demon, vampire, lich) and only two things for goods (avatar, crusader)? Not like the game isnt and hasnt been leaning towards evils anyway. Why not come up with something new for goods? Opinions please.

Well being evil has an easier appeal. Easier to get going all around. Goodies I believe have more power, but have a steeper path to getting that power. Perfect example: Avatar Paladin vs Vampire. That is gonna be a brutal fight, but I would give the advantage to the Avatar (if they are done proper). Goodies ARE harder to play. Just like in real life, it is easier for me to say **** you dumbass, then go about helping you get better clothes, and take you to the bar and be your wingman.

If evils have an easier appeal then something should be changed to appeal to goods as well. Ever since the RP thing of the Knight Cabal getting crushed by the demon god (forgot most of the story even though I was a Knight during it). Everything has been evil this and evil that. And I forgot to mention... why do vampires get to be make at lvl 30 while crusaders have to get to lvl 50 and then remort. Does not make much sense to me. Fill me in if you have some information on that. FL has seemed one sided for a long time, and I mean sided towards evils. Everyone makes evils. Partially because evils do not need to roleplay to kill anything. They all think just killing because they are evil is roleplay.

My most favorite which I also forgot to mention is dark-knights just killing to feed their blade. They have no RP for the kill. Just I want to feed my blade so you die, and you die, and you die. No reason other than to feed their blade. I dont know about your opinions, but that is not RP. Just throwing that out there.

What you are talking about is complete crap. There are well played and RPed evils just as there are well played and RPed goods. Most of the time though, I find that the evils have better RP, mostly because they do not have the restrictions that goods have, and perhaps that is one of the reasons why more people prefer evils over goods.

Funny thing you mention this, not saying evils or goods have better or worse RP, but you just pointed out the reason why most evils dont RP (not as restricted). AND that is another reason some people play evils, they are easier to RP, BUT this thread was not intended for this. Maybe you should go back to the beginning of the thread and attempt to read it correctly. My threads always get off topic, just like my last DK thread turned into an assassinate thread.

But at least now a goodies sanctuary will last more than a evil ones.
Get a good cleric, pinacle it, cast sanctuary. Do the same with evil cleric.
Good sanctuary lasts quite a bit more.
Yes, DK cleave will do more damage than a Paladin Mounted charge. And through vulnerability.

Also, Avatars can be ANY good race/class. That in of itself is HUGE. Undead have to be human first, demon have to be human first, vamps have to be human dk's first.
Goods do have their perks, and by no means are underpowered. Just because people seem to prefer playing evils....That doesnt mean they are somehow easier to RP or that they have no RP at all.
A lot of evils have great megalomaniacal RP. A lot of evils do the bare minimum. Same applies to goods. A lot of well RPed goods and a lot of them who use the same old time to die evil scum RP.
I agree that neutrals are the most gimped in terms of Q stuff & that neuts are the hardest to RP correctly.

I will also add that of all these badass evil Q's, most of them share a glaring vuln that goods can exploit. Vamp, Lich, Undead, all get reamed by holy anything. Whereas Avatars and Saders could have a vuln depending on race or could also have resistances. Much more wiggle room. That is a kind of balance right there.
Being somewhat new here, I thought the best way to learn the Mud was to make a Neutral in order to stay out of the ethos war. That way I could explore without as much fear of getting ganked.
Word of advice to new players: Make a goodie and join a clan. Goodie rp interaction is much more conducive to the learning process than any others, IMO.
That and even those that appear to be a-holes on the forums, are refreshingly pleasant and helpful while they're RPing goodies.
