HBwillie
I didn't and don't care much for the Giants, but damn am I glad the Patriots lost. Suck it MOP!
Suunmar
Agreed, I'm just happy the pats lost
Mattamue
Three hours and ten points was cool. Psyche.
One Way Up
Being a Pats fan, I was pretty upset. However, I like Eli Manning, and I think it's pretty cool that he got the ring. Gotta give props to the Giant's defense. Remarkable that they could hold them to 14 points.
The Wayward Knight
The last quarter of the game was Epic Win for the Giants.
Cephirus
Yeah, I am very pleased that the Giants won... mostly because after the whole thing with the pats cheating.... and no punishment, I think it is a bit ridiculous. The NFL might as well have just said, hey, it's okay if you cheat... as long as your team is doing really good because of it.
Quigt
I always put a lot of faith in the underdog, and I'm glad the Giants won. Now I get to stop hearing so much bull about Tom Brady. Wherever I go, it's "Tom Brady..." this or "Tom Brady..." that.
KRins
You know what I loved most about the SB? When Plaxico made that prediction like a week ago and said the Pats were only gonna score 17. Tom Brady reaction was classic, saying that Plax didn't give the Pats enough credit and he wished the prediction was 45-42 instead of 24-17. I had a good laugh at Tom's expense...but I did want to see him cry on the field like a 12 year old girl who just got cut from the cheerleading squad. HBwillie
New York's defensive front four did great! Plaxico got a lucky no-call for offensive pass interference, and Manning and Bradshaw came up with a couple of big fumble recoveries. All in all, it was a display of a hell of a lot of heart and a lot of luck.
Cephirus
I like your quote willie, except I think you are confused... you mean the Green Bay packers. It's alright though, I forgive you.
HBwillie
No, no. I'm sure I meant Cowboys. Packers run a close third.

Iconz
Are you kiddin? This was one of the best superbowls ever... it was such a defensive battle... you gotta love that.... and in the end the villains finally got that asskickin they deserve... this really made me believe again that cheaters dont win in the end... Oh... and my Miami Dolphins stand alone in perfectville.... 17-0, what?! ... so Cephirus n HBwillie... i think both of you have the quote wrong... clearly the quote was about the only perfect team that God created in the NFL... the 1972 DOLPHINS BABY! __________________ Iconz - "don't call me when you're in my town, call me when you're on my block, and I see you next door moving your furniture in. HBwillie
the 72 dolphins are *******s and wouldn't win a game in today's NFL
Iconz
Thats a poor argument man hahaha...the 1962 Packers wouldnt win a game today either... and theyre still one of the greatest NFL teams of all time... __________________ Iconz - Perfectville---> population
Ex-D&Der
You know it's interesting because a guy I know who works for HBO was saying after the first round of the playoffs that if the Patriots didn't win the Superbowl, 16-0 wouldn't be remembered as meaning anything in comparison to the '72 Dolphins. I thought he was full of crap, but now I think that although he was exaggerating, he was basically right. An undefeated season is impressive, but if you don't win the Superbowl, you can't even really say you were the best team that season, let alone of all time, as people were suggesting about the Patriots. I don't think anyone could seriously make that argument now.
