In post 3 "As a human warrior with 0 experience penalty I'll be fighting other players similar to my level or below me. As an elf paladin with 1000 experience penalty I'll have to fight other players my level or above.".

Elf paladin has 850 experience penalty.

"If your statistics are maxed you can get 10 extra health, 15 extra mana, or 25 extra move points that are permanent, too. They can convert into 10 practices and 10 practices can become 1 train."

At the top of this page.

It's +20 mana per train. Checked 3 weeks ago. Don't know about moves.

By the way. Exelent work.

I didn't read it word-for-word, but it looks well thought-out and in-depth. Well done.

Also, you should consider putting in a bit about descriptions, if you haven't already, and maybe specific helpfiles, such as tour(and tour2/3/etc.)

One last thing, I'm pretty sure newbie channel was bumped to 15.

I'm trying to dream up a more graph-like way of showing the common information for each race. If anyone can think of something to show alignment, exp penalty, and stats in a neat little box let me know. If you can figure out a better way to describe the exp penalty that'd be a bonus. I feel like how I tried to describe each penalty it is a little confusing and ambiguous.

Of course its wrong, it was just to give an idea for the table.

Anyhow i decided to fix it. That way i can use it with my (never finished) Class/Weapon table.

Here it is the corrected one. (As far as i could see.)

Edit: Removed Druids, due to 97.7kb file zise limit.

If you anyone interested in the excel file for saving time on a new table say something, that i post it.

That's a nice graph, mya. I had something smaller in mind that would accompany each race. As it is now with the lines there's no expected place for the information. Creating familiarity with a small graph makes the information intuitive and easily understood after the first table or two you read. Something easy with BBCode.

I means there's too much information, and that new players would miss a lot of the information because it's cramped together without any further explanations. It would be better to split it up, like one graph for each race, making it more consistent.

Something like that (I think).

Dwarf

(Good) (Neutral) Evil
Max Str: 21 Int: 18 Wis: 21 Dex: 18 Con: 25
325 exp penalty. Fighting other levels: [ -8 -6 -4 (-2 0 +2 +4 +6) +8 ]

Human

Good Neutral Evil

Max: Str: 20 Int: 20 Wis: 20 Dex: 20 Con: 20 (with 21 in main class stat)

0 exp penalty. Fighting other levels: [ -8 -6 -4 -2 0 +2 +4 +6 +8 ]

Drow

Evil

Max: Str: 18 Int: 24 Wis: 20 Dex: 24 Con: 16

500 experience penalty, you have to fight level 50 characters @ 42.

None of it looks right. Maybe I should stop nitpicking over every detail and work on another guide.

Duergar
GoodNeutralEvil

Gnome

  • A gnome can only be neutral.
  • 150 experience penalty, fighting a lower or a little higher leveled characters.
  • Max: Str: 18 Int: 23 Wis: 25 Dex: 18 Con: 18

  BLASPHEMY! BURN THE NON-BELIEVER.

It's okay, Aulian. It's okay. Everyone goes through the heart ache of never seeing a loved one again. But think of the good times, like those 3AM foggy eyed and mind searches to refresh yourself of the exp penalty. Forgetting the skill list, and having it right there for you to peruse.

And just because it prefers the company of those blokes in the Recycling bin doesn't reflect on you. Files change. And if it wants to be with last weeks porn collection, or that essay you wrote for Freshmen Lit I, let it be there. Just remember, you'll find a new file someday. There are plenty of Files in the C:.
