Attempted to RP with zeal, do something not done before. Tried to separate the Praetorian from the Sigil. Taeltrin didn't go for it.

Props to Scaragnoth. Bashed me from full life to death against a mounted paladin with 300 ac, lucky perk, and max luck. Hate fights that involve no in battle skill. But good pre fight prep by scaragnoth.

To be honest, I'm really disappointed with the current structure of players we have. I'd log on, everyone would log off. I'd wait for the knights to log off, so I could log on, then all the knights would log on. Syndicate was just as bad. I think it has a lot to do with the cabal structure. Players are still being promoted despite logging off without even attempting their standard. It may be why all of our top tier rp'ers are not playing caballed characters anymore, or of course, going herald.

The Players also need to take a huge step in the right direction in regards to OOC contacts. Log in times were always there. Item trading, alignment barriers seem to be gone, etc. I could go on all day. Attitudes need to change as well. Way too much hate in this game.

I'm sure I'll see you in game again, but I'm not sure when.

Props for sticking to your guns till the bitter end.

Great Praetorian, but no, I am not going for a divided Knight.

Good luck on your next! Something with protective shield will make those lag happy giants think twice!

Oh man, why did you delete... I loved fighting orodreth... even though he would hand me my *** each time. There was that one time I logged when I saw you coming, but I knew that I could not give you a good fight, I had no mana. Damn, the other goods are decent, but you are probably the hardest fight I had, I really wanted to at least get one win on you. Oh well, good luck on your next.

Where you using a Shield ?

I find that a Blessed Shield + Blessed Sword while not preventing the Lag lock can allow you to endure it.

I remember Celerity (i think) Nexian Fire giant bashing me down for 8+ rounds, with me escaping at the end, when it finally broke.

Now at least, you have magic strike to aid you a little. But then again i could dance around and force them to waste the Vials. Something that is futile now, with the new San staff.

Also when facing a skilled Fire Giant use the Enlarge pill. We all know about it but no one carries 3 of them...

This was also the reason i stoped using Goliath, as it is to small. I know "you" all say Goliath has bonus, but this is untrue. And most of you will probably only change, when he runs off under you and you lose your Trip immunity along with your bash resistance.

By the way Nice character.

Goliath is a large mount. I've played 5 pinned Paladins and I use Goliath 95% of the time and I always can enlarge myself on it. It's one of the reasons I always use it, to save myself 2,000 gold every 144 hours. As for him running off because he only stays for 24 hours... you monitor it, just like any other spell, and make sure you don't fight when he's going to go in a couple of hours. Treat goliath like you would treat sanctuary or protective shield when fighting trip/bash happy folk.

Also, Goliath -does- have a bonus. Good look finding it in that 2340294 year old code you have access to. Can't say what it is though, but I found it out by accident. :D

I didn't get to interact with Orodreth as much as I liked, but from what I did get to see, I liked the character. I got the impression he was your perfect haughty, high-and-mighty Elf.

A good character, fun to fight, watch fight and watch being a haughty elf (personally I think most elves are awfully rped as "love-you-all, let's hug and sing Kumbaya (sp)"- characters. Yours definitely was not that kind.)

On a site note, almost every single char I tried to involve in the Casseila - Lahlaahni plot has deleted now or stopped playing... :(

Except the one you (I think it was you) tried to steal the soul from but didnt, (although you came awfully close) what a surprise..? :)

Burich's still about - this is 3 times now i've had a very hard decision to make on Burich because of choices people he is heavily involved with have made, and he's had to pick which path he was going to go down.

Orodreth was probably the hardest, as Burich saw him as a bit of a mentor figure and as a commanding officer. Burich was very very close to coming with you as Captain of the Praetorian, and if you'd drawn it out a bit more, rather than just sending that one huge note he likely would have done.

Taught me a lot and helped me out a fair bit. I'd like to think that I'm not someone who logged off as listed above. I died a bunch of times in mithril, retrieving and defending the standard and learned a lot from it.

Thanks for the tips and the support.

sorry that you left am sad to see you go and such. Always had fun to talk to you even though it was not much interaction with you as I would have liked. I was waiting for the day that you would become a Praetorian and am sad to hear you go. I am sorry that I have not been around as much as I would have liked but with my connection dropping most of the time, work and school I am surprised that I have played as much as I did. But I am looking forward to your next char.

hear is by to the Drill sergeant of Praetorians.

After playing Lmathr, I can definately agree that maybe enlarged bashes should be looked into. I realize there is prep that can be done to somewhat hinder a lock. But from my experience I was able to lock just about anyone that did not have prot shield of some sort. And without real fail, if I got the enlarge too it was pretty well done with.

What ever happen to people increasing their AC to get rid of a lock?
