I work in a video store, and can tell you man that the bonuses you get for scholarship edition are not really that different from the regular version. Like comparing Ninja Gaiden Black to Ninja Gaiden Sigma. No more heroes, from my understanding, got better reviews in Gamepro.

Yeah, I use metacritic because it takes the scores from all the major reviewers (IGN, Gamespot, any relevant magzines, etc.) and gives an average, but then a breakdown of the scores given by all the other reviewers (about 10-20 reviewers for most games usually).

I've never played the original Bully, so I might have to go for the Scholarship Edition. Think I'm going to get No More Heroes first though. Heard the overworld in NMH isn't too great, just as a method of getting from A to B, so I'm going to play the game with that in mind.

Can't speak for Bully since I haven't played it, but NMH is.. I don't know know to describe it.

The combat isn't in-depth or involving. The story is bizzare and cliche-cliche anime. You save by taking a ****. You get a beam sword off eBay and become an assassin to sleep with a chick.

People die in fountains of blood. Blood and pennies and nickels. Fountains upon fountains of blood and pennies.

You're unaware of anything. Eons pass, a sun is born and dies, the cold death of space.

You are the fountains of blood and pennies. Your backside has a tiny statue of Abraham Lincoln on it, but you can't see it because it's covered in blood and flying through the air. You know the statue is there and you know it's covered in blood. That knowledge doesn't help you sleep at night.

Your battle cries are deserts.

I want the don't touch my beard t-shirt.

I would buy the game again. I don't think I would enjoy it as much a second time, though.

Smash isn't out in the UK yet, otherwise I'd definitely have it. I have Resi 4, Zelda, Trauma Centre - Second Opinion, Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption, Medal of Honour - Heroes 2 (Currently ranked 140th in England on online mode :D), Driver - Parallel Lines, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy and Link's Crossbow Training/Zapper.

The only one I didn't like at all was Driver - absolutely ****. Definitely recommand all of the above, but only Super Paper Mario and Link's Crossbow Training/Wii Zapper if they really take your fancy - the former being a little short and simple, the latter being a very short game just to showcase the Wii zapper.

Heard very good things about Batallion Wars 2 so I'm going to get that at some point. Getting No More Heroes tonight though. As they say in Germany, merci beacoup.

Yeah, it's brilliant. My favourite has to be Wesker (I think - haven't played it in sometime, but it's the one with the bow). ;)

Thats Krouder(sp) I believe, yeah.

whats funny is my wifes cousin plays it on the ps2, and she HATES that guy because you have to aim on the ps2 with the anaolog toggles which is a total pain in the *** for any weaon you cant "spay and pray" with. On the wii however, you can nail head shot after head shot after headshot, hehe.

The wii just rocks for any game that requires point and shoot. I would love to see unreal torunament style games on there. That would be the ****.

Perhaps in pure speed' date=' but I'm factoring in precision very strongly.[/quote']

Suppose it depends on what you are used to. I'll admit, FPS games are very easy to get used to on the PC with mouse & keyboard for aiming, however you can be very precise with the Wii remote with a bit of practice. I can keep a very steady hand because I rest my wrists on my legs when I play and tilt the remote to point at the screen, and this supports my arm and reduces 'wobble factor' a great deal.

I play(ed) both PC and Wii FPS games but I like both equally and don't think I could pick one over the other now I am used to the Wii remote (hammered some serious hours in the MoH - Heroes II) - have very little problem tracking moving opponents, sniping, close range circle-strafing and the like with it.

Anything but a boss battle is hack and slash. Changing up your stance and getting that dash to the side move will let you cut a swath of destruction through the lesser bad guys w/o so much as breaking a sweat. Eventually you're able to upgrade your sword. One of the upgraded swords will behead any guy within ten feet of your left side if you finish in that direction. So, it's a different sword, but you're still hacking and slashing w/ a slower but more dangerous left swing.

Boss battles can get challenging. There are patterns that'll let you kill them, but that doesn't make it easy.

The lovikov balls you'll find around the city let you train special moves. They're the only things that will change the basic hack and slash. Example is a move where you shake the nunchuck and anyone you hit falls over, letting you finish them with a downward strike.
