Mattamue
Re: TB, won't want to pull away? Until you get to level 70 and you either pointlessly pug or give up every one of your weeknights for a schedule-nazi guild.
Zrothum
Horde. lvl 10 orc hunter....its so-so, so far....I don't find it worth $$$ every month....maybe once I get into raids and instances and stuff it might be more fun. But right now its just hack n slash....kinda boring after an hour or two. I got into a newb guild early and am learning a bit...but yeah, not exactly uber super fun..... but then again, neither is trying to play/rank on FL w/ ~10 peeps on lol

Zrothum
Not getting into this argument right now. :-) But you can only be part of the solution for so long, without seeing improvement, before you realize you're not having fun, you're just waiting for change. Guest emp_newb
I gave up on WoW. Its fun for a bit, and raiding is sweet, but its just too bland and Im not falling back into a "diablo" habit ever again. I actually payed rent by selling items through that game. elfdude
WOW sucks, I used to play it last summer-middle of first semester and then I started getting bored with it. I regret that I introduced my roomate to it seeing as how all he does is play wow and work these days. I only got to 32 on my hunter
corpsestomp
yeah but comeone' date=' a rogues sap skill is SO much like blackjack [/quote'] A sap is a cloth bag filled with blunt metal thingies. I'm pretty sure blackjack hits people over the head with a cloth bag filled with blunt metal thingies. In any case...I enjoy WoW every once in a while. I'd never actually purchase the game, because I don't enjoy the grinding. At least with the mud if you're grouped it should only take you an hour or so to level up. My impression of WoW. Guy 1 "Here, take this to the other side of this huge friggin landmass." Guy 2 "Oh, thanks for bringing that, but before you get any reasonable reward, will you take this thing to this guy, way the eff over there?" Guy 3 "Good job! Take this back to Guy 2!" Guy 2 "Way to go! But I've got this other thing...Take it to Guy 4 in the middle of the ocean." Guy 4 "Okay, just one last thing, will you kill this monster that's 8 levels higher than you?" Guy 4 "You got him, good work, head back to guy 2!" Guy 2 "Alright, here's the different thing, go back to guy 1." Guy 1 "You're awesome!" +10 xp. Kyzarius
hahah, thats very few of the quests. And they ar ejust there to facilitate the lvling grind.. and you dont even have to do them.you can grind for xp..you can do dungeon raids...heck, you can even equip yourself through pvp if you dont like bying your armor. I actually skip 90% of the "fedex" quests for kill count/drop/assasinate quests. The game itself isnt that bad, and honestly the lvling mechanics are VERY similar to the mud. killalou
My little brother introduced me to this game called "guild wars" when I visited my family for Christmas. I dont know how similiar it is to WoW but I thought it was a pretty good game. I did enjoy it alot. Also, my brother said it was free
Twinblades713
I have guildwars. I wasn't into it as much as other contending games. If anyone is looking for a good game that's similar to that, that is free to download, free to play and worthwhile I suggest you look into Cabal Online. http://www.cabalonline.com/
