BigMac
I haven't been around here in a while and figured I'd drop by and see how everyone was doing. I'm going to Europe again this year but don't really know where I should go. Since there's a lot more diversity here than on the Counter-Strike forum I frequent, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I'm trying to decide between going to London again, or going to either Germany (Munich) or the Czech Republic (Prague). If anyone has any ideas, I'd love 'em forever. When I was chilling with Deykari last year, he mentioned that Greece was a really awesome place to go (party central). Anyone else been there? I wouldn't mind going to Athens for a week or so. Hell, I wouldn't mind going to Egypt either. I've already been to Paris/Versailles (sp?) and Rome. I'll go back to Paris and Rome eventually; I've got unfinished business at the Louvre and various places in Rome. I don't really want to go to those two places right now. Oh, and no. I don't want to go to Amsterdam. I don't smoke weed anymore, so I don't really think it'd be that much fun.
Deykari
Some parts of Greece are 'great' for partying (depending on what you think of when you think of partying). Some of the smaller islands have resorts that cater towards nothing but partying - absolute ****holes with very poor accomodation, fast food joints everywhere, bars as far as the eye can see and a ton of young adults partying waaay on until the late morning. In these places, most hotels are owned by tour operators, so you can only book the hotel through a package deal. You like your beer, I know that much. I would definitely recommend Prague, just for that... Amsterdam is a lot more than just weed and prostitution - Holland is a very satisfying change of culture. You just need to steer away from the centre, touristy areas. These are my picks though, based on where I would go: Riga, Latvia - Capital of Latvia. Great party scene (popular with stag parties), great change of culture, fantastic beer, and overall very cheap. Catch this place before it becomes too commercialised (like Amsterdam)! Budapest, Hungary - Capital of Hungary. See above. Venice, Italy - Always personally wanted to go here. London, England - Sounds silly really for me being in England, but I don't get chance to go here often. London is VERY different to where I live in England. Deykari
Potentially, but it will depend on a couple of factors with money and the like. I'll know for sure in a week or so so I'll let you know. Dey
