I use PortalGT. I have my perfect FL set-up for it. I can't be bothered with messing about with the scripts, as I don’t know how to use them.

I can’t remember the exact steps off top of my head, and with a broken laptop I can’t check for you. Here goes though:

Create a profile. Put all the information and stuff in as normal, like IP/port, character name, etc. etc.

Go to the ‘events’ box. Add an event that inputs the command ‘roll’ when the number 27 shows.

Repeat upto 55. If you are told you can’t have that many events, you may have to cater it to your current race, ie. Have the range 27-49 on a Storm Giant, 30-52 on an Elf, etc.

Quickest way I know of to deactivate all events is to select one on the list, do the “turn off event” hotkey combo (alt + whatever letter is underlined in the “turn off event” clickbox, then just hit the down arrow on your keyboard and repeat that hotkey combo until all events are off.

Now you just roll your character, then repeat to turn all events on whilst rolling. Once rolled, turn them off. Once you have the events created and saved in that character profile, next time you roll a new character just copy that profile and rename it, so you don’t have to set up the events again – just turn them on/off (which is really quick).

Sorry if some of the steps don’t seem accurate – the process itself is correct, just I can’t remember the exact names of the buttons that need clicking and the like,

Oh, make sure you save a small few event slots so that you can have triggers that highlight the text that is displayed when sanctuary/prot. shield falls, or when you’re disarmed. :D

I'm going to push MUSHclient. When I decided to get back into FL, I grabbed that instead of my traditional gMUD. And I have to say, I'm blow away. I'm still getting used to it, like when clicking on the window it doesn't automatically put the cursor in the text box (a simple tab will remedy this), and a few other things.

But I'm finding Highlight triggers to be an amazing time saver. And, honestly, life saver.

Here's a link to the Statroller and other FL related stuff. I'm not sure how to get much more than the stat roller to work just yet.

Mushclient Roller

And to get mushclient? It just got itself opensourced!

'Mon the PortalGT! So many times have I died, using Ctrl + V to paste a command, and then my finger still holding CTRL down for a split-second just as I hit Enter thus opening an annoying pop-up box (Ctrl + Enter = autotyper box) on my screen which I have to close using the laptop mousepad to click the close button. Yet, I love it with all my heart. :D
