KRins
Look at it like this...at least you can use a stat roller with your client. SimpleMU doesn't have one...so I sit there manually rolling until I get something I deem halfway acceptable (generally within 2 or 3 of max. I've never had a max roll.) Took you a little more than 5 minutes...I've spent an hour before.
The Professor
yeah, do you not just hate it when you spend like an hour rolling....just pressing the arrow key up and hitting enter over and over till you finally get what you want.................and roll again..........? I have done that in the past quite a few times......very frustrating.........
a-guitarist
That's not max. But, it was close enough. Why not just download MUSHclient and the roller? It's free and easy, and then when you make the character you can just switch over to your preferred client. I used to do that all the time. a-g
KRins
You know...I never considered that a-g. I guess I should skip the newest tattoo and just get newb in huge letters on my forehead. Professor...I've done the same thing, with a manual rolled max. I just closed my client and took about a month off.
'tarako
'yeah... I remember when I use to use the mud connector client and telnet. It would just be ! over and over, and I would see a 1 or better and 89% of the time I would roll again. and 11% of the time I would stop. lol. Then I switched to gmud and life has been good.
