Deykari
Umm no! I don't want to see chicks with "crotch-tentacles" I think I may be sick Funny, there are pictures of me floating around somewhere that potentially fit that description. I had to go to a beach party wearing nothing but clip-on bunny ears, black french knickers, and a stuffed bra. Talk about a forfeit for losing a bet. Tom
Talk about a last-ditch effort for losing CENSORED. That's what I read, anyway. But seriously, the pictures are great.

Icor
Man I am soooo sun-burnt right now. And exhausted. No new images today guys. I'll try to start on the Raargant revision and finalize Korropant tomorrow.
Ex-D&Der
I think for Anume the idea is the tattoos cover her entire skin, as if she were body painted (but with permanent ink). So you can't see any of her actual skin color. I think the first drawing is better drawn, however. I think it's risky to direct an artist too much because it detracts from his vision, becomes forced. Also it becomes exhausting for the artist. The descriptions are always pictured differently by anyone who reads them and to some extent I think you should leave it up to an artist to draw it as he sees it. Icor
None of this stuff is like, in stone. These will alway be my subjective idea of what they look like, regardless of how much description I get. Some details can be corrected (such as Raargant's bulk), but in the end, I still have to invent visual information on the basis of verbal information. With that in mind, I pretty much just pick a pose, and then sketch in the details. In Raargant's, I'm gonna have to toss some logic to the wind to make it look right, because in a lot of cases, I try to consider the figure's flexibility and flow. If Raargant is bulkier and has all those spikes, his mobility will be severely compromised. This isn't something a casual viewer will notice though. I still can't help but consider it, in any case. Raargant
It's all good. Dwarves aren't famed for mobility. Maybe shrinking the spikes a little bit would help with it a bit? Just throwing out ideas. This is of course all your call, and it's very fun for me to watch. RE Battleragers: http://images.wikia.com/forgottenrealms/images/b/b9/Pwent.jpg That is an artist's sketch of how a battlerager looks in his mind. From the Forgotten Realms Wiki, A Dwarven Prestige Class, members of this elite order enter a raging frenzy. Usually covered in scars, runes and tattoos, they will scream out battle cries and religious oaths as they charge recklessly forward into battle. They live in the fringes of Dwarven society, kept away from children for there strange ways; heroic stories are told about them, but the Battlerager is short lived, having full belief that if they die, the Dwarven gods of battle will bring them back stronger than before. The word for Battlerager in Dwarven literally translates into "Axe Idiot", for the crazed sort of fighting style that these Dwarves have, swinging axes, maces, hammers or fists recklessly into battle. Different "guilds" of Battleragers - such as the infamous Gutbusters - collectively use only one style of fighting (theres being spiked armor and gauntlets)
Icor
Sweet, thank you. I'll use all of that. The longer the spikes, the deadlier looking he'll be. Mobility isn't something you can tell by looking, its static media. But if I were to make a piece of concept art for, say, a team of 3D modelers, I'd have to really consider where the mobility is and stuff. For this, I don't have too. I was just saying that it was on my conscious when I was blocking in muscles and stuff which is why that first draft is so scrawny like you said. EDIT: In case it didn't load for some people, I got a new image host for the revised Anume piece.
