Drows and magic resist

Ok, before you all call me a newb, I'll have you know I posted on the newbie forum, so yes, I realize I am a newb for asking this ;)

Do drows get a magic resistance, similar to that of dwarf/duergar/halfling?

Are there any other races with a magic resist?

drow might not even get charm resistance, i'm only %100 sure about elves having charm resist. the only innate, race-born magic resist across the board are dwarf/duerg/half. although you can no doubt observe that drow high INT makes them less suspectible to some mental spells like dispel magic, summon and such.

Drows are indeed Charm resistent just as Elves. They also learn faster.

The problem is that the Charm spells are few so you wont notice it much.

Uh, if you mean learn faster as in, they learn fast because they have high int, you're right. But they do not have the same kind of learning bonus as half-elves.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but wouldn't elves learn faster, as they have a higher intelligence?

It's been said, Faerie's and Half-Elves learn at the fast rate. Everyone else... go sickly to get it.

Also, it's been my experience that sickly and half-elf/faerie bonus do NOT stack. But, I could be wrong.

Elves do learn faster than half-elves, but it's only because of their high int. And yeah, no point in making a sickly half-elf.
