Chars that you regret rage deleting!

We have all rage deleted one or seven thousand chars. What are some chars that you really wish you didn't do that?

Mine would be Giddyuk. A mentally challenged "Bobaling" ninja (feral restring). He had hilarious RP and Anume used to hang out all the time and give me rats! Step one, stabby-stab. Step two get gold. Step three buy rats! I loved that char but after a giant 30 range killing spree a ranger killed me and I rage deleted. D'oh!

2.0 was open for about 4 days, and I had a 50 elf cleric Palan. no mobdeaths, no pdeaths and was attacking everyone i could see (cleric of battle). Palan hated Justices so I pummeled one outside of town. he ran into town and sat next to Sehkir and two town guards. Palan wasn't having it, so he jumped 'em all. Suffice to say I got captured (pure cockiness and stupidity on my part). Goliant killed the Jail Guard, breaking me out (he hated Justice as well). the Justice comes in and charges me at 40hp and 0 mana. I get pissed, delete, delete.

Raktanger. Dwarf Warrior Warmaster Elder. Got in a pissing match with an Immortal, ended up offing Rak and my main, and quitting for a few months. I had so many people pissed with my lil' dwarf. Probably because my notes were "written" how I spoke. And everyone was right, it made no sense to do it that way. But I miss him. I died A LOT.

Leigth. Knight halfling ranger, was doing pretty well. Someone posted on the forum that Knights had no balls, so I went after his FG warrior whom I had a rank on, died, threw a hissy fit, deleted, then threw a hissy fit on the forum.

Margolisse. Human Psi. Took repeated deaths to a Savant invoker. Then got killed by a WM who kept charging me and lagging me. Didn't know it lagged at the time. Deleted.

Bargle. Syndicate Ogre ranger. Was doing pretty well but was getting raped by Slirtdan. An IMM asked me to kill him. Went after him with a cursed dagger because I didn't want to take the time to uncurse it or remove it. Died, deleted.

...pretty sure that was me, unless my memory's failing...

Anyhow... char I regret stopping playing the most is most definitely Ilendriel, given all the Shas-centered RP that happened shortly afterwards. I don't really miss any of my deleted chars.

Here recently I made a char that I put alot of time and effort into making their background, description, and qrace application only to have my description approved but no word on my qrace app. So, I sent the app in again. Shortly after I recieved a scroll that informed me that my app was rejected. I thought a moment about what to do, all my rp and everything was centered around being this qrace. I decided, my app was simply not good enough and I should give it sometime and start the idea over. I deleted.

Shortly after I found out that the first app was rejected, but my second one was approved....... Talk about a Homer moment...... Sighs, I just hope the Imm's will not mind reading that qrace app again in the distant future..... I really wanted to try on that rp.

I have never deleted a char, partly because I don't usually get mad if I mess up, partly because I get bored very easily, and when I do, I roll another one. I still haven't found a class that can keep me interested long enough to get passed level 40, so now I have a bunch of level 25-40 characters running around which I play when I am in the mood. And I rolled another one today! :D

At least I got the chance to fight as different class-race combos, and I have managed to get rid of my newbie shaking hands. :)

Haha, you guys should learn some self restraint. :P

I don't rage delete, or even use a delpass.

I just get up from my chair and go get a glass of water from the kitchen.

I still haven't found a class that can keep me interested long enough to get passed level 40...

I hope you are choosing adventurer perk for this...

Also you are missing a lot for not being at 50. For example a Cleric's game a 50 is quite different from 30 or 40, due to Holy hands, Divine intervention and Ray/Path Minister/Portal.

Even most mages gain a power spike, the moment you attain 50, and convert all those trains into HP.

You would really benefit from making your cleric hit 50.

Hm... I didn't play my cleric long enough to even have my description approved. :D (I deleted him, being a cleric isn't appealing at all)

I played a DK, Ninja, Pally, Thief, Ranger and Zerk, not necessarily in that order. :P

As a side note, I have seen what an evil cleric is capable of, they scare me. :(

EDIT: Yes, I'm very undecided.

Don't worry i also had lots of characters before i pinacled my first Paladin.

You can trust me on the Drow Cleric. Going from dead to PK able in 5 minutes is a great perk of playing a cleric. This way you will learn about the nifty things of other classes, and perhaps see which one atracks you more.

Also once you hit 50, you see lot's of changes. People start respecting you more. You can join a Cabal. PK's are no longer the 2 rounds of doom as most players are somewhat experienced and prepared.

I don't think I've ever actually rage deleted. Most of the time, I just quit and come back later, and realize how many more other characters I want to play, and decide I won't have time for the character. It's not because I'm mad about something, I just always have half a dozen characters around, anywhere from level 5-50.

It was. Also took several deaths to Inscribed or Anon's invoker (Wrixlee). There was also a role-play issue here because I had applied to Savant and figured I had no chance of getting in. I was suggested to join Chaos by Barhart and Rae, but I didn't think it was a good idea to try to withdraw an application and apply for a different cabal. In retrospect I should have tried it and role-played it out.

Roleplay was also an issue in deleting Raznor. He was in SacredOak, then joined Syndicate. This was a hot item of contention in 1.0 that I was very much against, then I decided to try it. SacredOak had a different flavor in 2.0, however, and I was condemned by many members and sworn not to hunt members by Quaxin. Then Tetsunai asked me if I would hunt other members of SacredOak. I hesitated, said I would do what was appropriate, he asked what that meant, I said I couldn't, he called me a fink, and next time I logged in I was expelled. Then he hunted me down, I asked for help from SacredOak, didn't get it, died and deleted. In retrospect SacredOak was right not to help me, and it was very interesting roleplay and I should have stuck with it.

Pinn one, you'll notice that it's a whole different game at 50.

Heh, I remember Wrixlee...

And Margolisse just annoyed Asniar. I freely admit that he was a bit too aggressive as a gnome, and that a couple of those kills really just were me being way too caught up in being a PK monster... but I was young then, so I ask forgiveness. ;)

Yes' date=' you'll get your @$$ handed to you more often and get attacked a lot more.....at least, that's what I find.[/quote']

To be quite honest, that's not a change. One of my chars was hunted by three different persons at the same time for hours (thieves included!). And I was out of consumables from the fights. :D

Being at 50 makes RPing a little harder with random people since you aren't hunting much. Your RP with your reequip/upper level area running/cabal pals gets a lot tighter though. Pet names, name calling, insults, and other good natured fun. Definately pin...some classes become drastically different animals at pinn with mastered skills.

EDIT: biggest rage delete regrets: Tial (WM half-elf BLM...in-fighting with Taeim and getting owned by him every time just pissed me off, even though it was fun.) and Tarim (Half-elf BLM in Hope that ended up arguing with a knight healer (name eludes me but he was cool) and getting the title the Despairing, Wayward Child of Hope. Pretty much everyone who wasn't a hopeful then was after me. I tried sending Raargent a note apologizing and all that so I could have a chance to make Knight, ended up logging like 200+ hours at pinn just helping 42-49s reach pinn and running clan quests, finally rage deleted when some nexus just owned the crap out of me with a single cabal skills. Then I realized after reading the saved version of my note in word pad that I had sent it to Rargent...he told me had he gotten a note in game that he would have reconsidered in my delete thread...failz)

I really regretted rage deleting my first blm Trevian.... but it got so hard rping a syndicate who only hunted bounties to feed his family. Char started out bein generally liked... and then everyone hated him for joining Syndicate... then i took a pdeath to some DK who i tooled earlier and that just put me over the top. It was my first and only rage delete... but i just didnt like the chars direction anymore... ah well... thats why i set delpasses on a char as soon as it hits 50.

Vote yes on Bill 1949! The no-delpass left behind law needs your help to succeed...

Maleth - Trol (Restrung Troll) lvl 50 Ogre Warrior, NEXUS Leader.

Tyron and Vharish were Knights at the time and well known gangers. Every reason IC and OOC to hunt them down. Gave them several beat downs 1v1 - Another NEXUS and myself walked into Winter to see them a fair way in (behind several locked doors).

Summoned, charged, dispel magic, wrath, dispel evil, wrath, dead. Type delete.

Get some gear - have most of it, getting the last piece: Summoned, charged, wrath, wrath, dispel evil. Dead. Typed delete - hadn't logged out or cancelled the last delete and that was that.

My only rage delete - to the point where I quit and don't go back to corpse (so effectively full looted whether they left anything or not).

L-A
