Iusedtobesomebody
Pwipes should only happen when large amounts of new code are put in, which would distort the balance of classes. They should not happen 'just because'. Unless of course, I can get my squid cleric afterwards. Then I say, pwipe away!

Aulian
wipe it now and not in a week. Wipe it in a week and a pox on all your decendants!
goldbond
what it frees up among other things, is a lot of negative momentum and stagnant status quo across all spectrums. what is also does is gives active players an extremely rare chance to observe the rebuilding of whatever future status quo there will be after that, and gain valuable notes regarding game progression. i really hope there is a wipe before summer is over. Twinblades713
As devastating as losing my characters would be... that's strangely an attractive prospect.

Grumpy
I don't mind if there is a p-wipe, as long as we get to keep our characters.
Shinth
Err... NO. Unless you like training. And you are a masochist.

Pieman
Actually, post p-wipe play is hilarious for a while. Everyone rolls something immediately, and aside from the hardcore with a ton of time on their hands, theres a ton of non-trained pinns which makes me giggle. And then the monsters will be the people who can rank/train in around 30 hours total, , there is a person here in mind who knows who he is. Pfft, if there's a p-wipe I'm going to try to Qrace! Ex-D&Der
You talk about this like it's a regular occurrence. There haven't been pwipes. There was one p-wipe. And that one was devastating.
Icor
Why did the P-Wipe actually happen before? It had to have been more than just updating the code.
Ex-D&Der
It was like the flood. We were sinning. Virigoth punished us with his wrath. There were no survivors.
Aulian
It was major code updates. Plus he thought we needed a clear up. Because people were being prissy.
Pali
Why did the P-Wipe actually happen before? It had to have been more than just updating the code. It was a massive rebalancing of the classes, cabals, and equipment.
