Evangelion
Wanted: 8.5/10 - It was a bit of a mind****, and it is not a movie I would see while under the influence of any mind altering substance. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: 4.5/10 - Any movie that has Indiana Jones in it should not also have a spaceship in it. However, other than that, there were some humorous parts and some decent effects. Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay: 8/10 - This movie contained lots of funny moments, but wasn't really funny as a whole, mainly because it's sad to think that what happened to Harold & Kumar actually probably happens. Get Smart: 9/10 - This movie was just pure genius. Steve Carell is just hilarious in the first place (did anyone see him on the Daily Show for this movie?), and then you add The Rock... This movie was just pure hilarity. Also, Anne Hathaway has completed her plastic surgery transformation, and actually looked pretty damn good for most of the movie. I would highly recommend that if you go see one movie on the big screen this summer, that this be it. My To-See List: The Dark Knight Wall-E Quantum of Solace (New 007 flick) Hellboy II My To-Not-See List: The Happening The Incredible Hulk
Imoutgoodbye
How can you possibly give a Harold and Kumar anything a higher rating than Indiana Jones? I call Shenannigans! Another to see movie: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
inscribed
the incredible hulk was a great movie. i think i even liked it better than iron man, which is saying a lot. unless you just hate comics, theres no reason not to see it, especially seeing as you have Hellboy 2 listed as a "To-See" movie. Rethrick
all we have are the boot-legged versions of all these movies and it takes away from the movie itself

And I happen to like Guillermo's films.
KRins
I think Hellboy 2 is going to be pretty sick. The commercials make it seem like the creatures are pretty well designed. I kind of liked the first one too, even though it was kinda dorky.

inscribed
Hollywood didn't deserve a second chance after Hulk. And I happen to like Guillermo's films. the first hulk was terrible, plain and simple. the newest adaptation is hardly 'Hollywood' getting a second chance. its the second independent film done by marvel studios (the first being iron man). every other marvel movie has been a co production with other movie studios, and for the most part, all of them have been mediocre at best. these new films are done independently by marvel studios and are outstanding, and any comic book fan should watch. they have other movies being independently produced now (thor, captain america, iron man 2), and i'm expecting great things. Anoneemus
I really wish they'd come out with a Wolverine movie. His life has been way more interesting than Captain America's. Edit: Huh, nevermind, apparently they are coming out with a Wolverine movie.

I would highly recommend that if you go see one movie on the big screen this summer, that this be it. I saw it twice. It was better the first time, but Carrell really does Maxwell Smart justice if you've ever seen the old TV show. these new films are done independently by marvel studios and are outstanding, and any comic book fan should watch While that's true, a lot of people will see Marvel's movies not because they're comic book-movies, but because they're superhero movies. So when you judge a movie like that, you can't necessarily judge it just from a comic book reader's point of view. Somebody who has never read a comic in their whole life might not like it.
