360 modding service

i am starting my own little business. I will be buying 360's, modding them with different colors, installing windows, changing the LEDs, and installing windows in the disc drives. So... the start up cost is around $140 (i need a dremel tool. a knife and sandpaper isn't so good for professional). and i can make $70-$130 a pop, so... what are your thoughts?

if anyone wants their 360's modded, i could do it. anything from drive flashing to windows and paint jobs.

Yes....I thought that's what it was, was just physical modding, but, I'm not that good with ANYTHING physical technology wise. *holds up his copy of Microsoft Visual Basic* I'm a software guy. :o

A note to everyone, save the cosmetics, any software upgrades to your 360 can be detected by xbox live and investigations are done by some companies, Bungie mostly. Just a word of warning to everyone. It WILL ban your xbox live account.

Edit: Another note on the bans Microsoft backs up their database of banned accounts so if you get banned and even if you buy a whole new system to use and you link it to the same credit card as your banned account BOOM another ban.

err... where are you getting this information, mate? If you flash your drive, but you use the xbox connectivity kit, and your 360 has never booted up w/o the sata cable connected to the dvd drive, provided you never boot a backup. M$ will be none the wiser. here's where it gets complicated... the DVD drive logs every game you put in it, and puts it in a predetermined section of the flash on the MoBo, and when you connect to XBL, M$ recieves this log, then takes note of it. now, the next major update, they go through the information. It is the Hardware mods (chips like the globe 360 and the NME 360 V2) that can be easily detected, as they leave voltage traces on the DVD drive, but even that can be avoided w/ a dip switch. Also, you've obviously never been banned, as they don't ban the account, they ban the console. You can take the HDD off your banned console, and put it on your unbanned console, and play with that gamertag w/o issue.

basically, M$ can't really access the FW remotely

so.. here's what microsoft uses to detect bootleggers

If the 360 has ever been powered up w/o the sata connection to the dvd drive

If any burned games have been played (Regardless of whether you were on the network when you played)

if any voltage traces have been left on the dvd drive

also, it is possible to unban your console, through the use of the infectus 2 chip. it rips the key from an unbanned console, and puts it on your motherboard. it also enables the booting of two FWs, and you can use it to dump the keys from your disc drive so you can put them on another drive if yours breaks. but, it's 30+ wires, and i would kill myself before attempting to install that.

for proof that m$ can detect voltage traces. people have been banned for soldering the +12v point to the fan for a faster, (not quite more) efficient cooling scheme.

however, is anyone here proficient w/ modding? idk where i would put the power cords to a cold cathode ray tube in the 360, and i am trying to expand my arsenal of modding techniques.
