Imoutgoodbye
Is there some trick to getting this neat word processor to work for me? I can't open it, let alone open my old microsoft office files.
Kyzarius
never used the freeware myself...being MSDN has its perks.
a-guitarist
Reigning in hell > serving in heaven. A perk? As for installing... just double click. It will connect and then install the proper files. Then, badabing, badaboom, you're typing away. But, I've recently discovered something "better", it's called AbiWord. Freeware, and its' not based off whatever OOo is based off of (java?) so instead of waiting 30 seconds for it to load, you get it instantly. Less bells and whistles, but more time to type. a-g

When you have to design your architecture around a microsoft platform, msdn is an awesome thing to have.

"Windows gives you the windows. Linux gives you the whole house." But, honestly, MS isn't all that bad. I just like kabits'n about them. a-g
