Questioner
They are a bit strong, but it is a big incentive to get the mark that protects you. (The whole point right now)
Twinblades713
That whole sitch is confusing... about the mark and stuff. I suppose it's IG so secret but I'm a bit out of it.

f0xx
Not fun when you are not equipped well. No fun t'all. It's actually not fun even if you are decked, while playing a comuner that is. I personally prefer to skip this part of the plot

Questioner
These torments don't seem to be any different than the ones that can be found in a certain area already. Use that knowledge to your advantage.
ajwetton
Yes i know exactly where those are and what the weakness is but it doesn't help when you don't realize its dark out and you get "blasphamied" by one and get killed fleein cause they track like a mofo. Aulian
lol all I can say is shiza... My 50 ranger had trouble surviving a couple of times when a bunch of those things attacked.... Deykari
Honestly, now is not the time to be playing a good. Unless you like being a corpse. Three active Demons, two active Undead, one (now potentially two) active Vamps, and a boat load of torments that will attack anyone 'unmarked' (that naturally a good isn't going to do)? Yeah, I think I'll pass. Dey

Yeah, I think I'll pass. Dey I agree that it's definitely not fun playing a good right now. You also forgot to mention, amongst your list of qapps, that there's a certain drow invoker running around that is insanely buff, partly because of eq, partly because of his great pk ability, and partly because of other choices he's made. Evils have always had the upperhand since I've been here...something I'm just used to I guess. The torments make for good RP, but I do agree they are overkill. The food and water also makes things tougher in general, which I can deal with, but I imagine new players would find it to be very unfriendly. Deykari
I don't think there's anything wrong with the plot and what comes with it (the torments, the food/drink). After all, what can we expect with the dark times on us? It's just hard playing a good right now. Dey
Montahg
I think the plot is going fine, and I really enjoy it (although I've been unable to actively participate in it), and the food/water was a really cool change. Imagine, though, if you were new to FL ... how insanely annoying would this food stuff be? And you get attacked (and quite possibly killed) whenever you venture into towns at certain times? Not only is it a tough time for a goodie (which is fine imo), but it's a tough time for a newbie - and I think we can all agree we don't need things harder for a new player. Montahg
Sometimes I feel as though we, the playerbase, can seem like ungrateful little ****s, so I wanted to make it clear that I am thankful to be at a MUD where the immstaff is not a complete bag of tools, and that my posts are an attempt to be constructive in regards to newer players and they are not an attempt to just bitch and moan - sorry if it came off that way. Iusedtobesomebody
Seriously? 14 magic mush's in the 30's and still not full? Didn't know I had to mortgage all my mana just to feed my craw. edit1: Okay, switched to a lowbie and seriously, I've been on for 15 minutes, all spent trying to end my damn hunger. edit2: 30 minutes now, still trying to feed my face. Out-f'n-raegous. I'll most likely skip this plot then.
