P_body
And those who are getting involved are being included/given larger roles accordingly. So I would have liked to get more involved...but how would one go about it? Of course, I TOOK the mark...so I can't really play the side of making all the evil torments go away...:-d
Sirax
Well the main players involved have sent notes, go and speak with them I have and they will easily give up their time to get you into the plot. I used to be so involved in the pk element of the game sometimes that I did not even bother to read notes which other players have written. Someone takes time and care to produce a scroll for a whole lot of reasons and I can't spend a minute to read it, is very bad form on my part. Take time to read players notes you may be surprised at how well written they are if there is a plot going on you wont be refused a part if you want it and wish to rp it through. The current plot has lots of potential and I do feel for the Imms on this as I think they have put a lot of effort in and I think for reasons I know not the majority of the player base havent grabbed it with both hands. I played a low level character and had some great interactions with some of the people at 50 and was very impressed, I was brought into the plot as much as a rank 19 can be. There are some very intresting characters out there if you stop and talk. I only hope the imms dont say "screw this for a laugh I would rather be down the pub" with regards to future plots. Zrothum
lol not being soft...just being honest and realistic. Dont know how much more of this some people are willing to take. I thought the torments were a great idea, personally. The whole plot makes sense and everything...but it gets to the point where enough is enough, just like anything else. Mudder
I kept losing connection for 10 mins at a time randomly throughout the whole thing. Lol. That sucked. It was fun though. Even if I did miss a good chunk.
Montahg
I haven't been on the mud tonight, but my understanding is that the plot took yet another turn for the worse. I would by lying if I said I wasn't frustrated with this rp plot. I'm not trying to bitch and moan, because I'm glad we have immortals that are putting hard work and effort into this, but the torments and general feeling of gloom are taking the fun out of the game for me. I've been trying to rp to get these torments gone, but I don't seem to get anywhere with it. I know my rp isn't too superb, but I am trying to do what I can. I might just stick to playing my evil for a while, until this rp plot is done. Playing my goodie just isn't as much fun right now.
Nightmare_from_hell
Can anyone give a general synopsis of what exactly happened tonight? I was at work and missed it all.
Zrothum
we found thorms dig site. we got to him but he died in front of us. the tunnel collapsed and were trapped in this temple. Jacobis was able to decipher the writings on the wall and we found this pedestal. There was a golden orb that was an ancient elven artifact created to prevent the Cataclysm. We found it. Was decided that Aendros was gonna hold onto it so no evil could get to it. Kovaeim stole it from Aendros. Kovaeim had been a traitor all along, and Malchaeius had been posing as Father Jacobis. Kovaeim gave the Orb to Malchaeius who now grows stronger as the Rifts do.

Calron
Playing my goodie just isn't as much fun right now. I don't see how you think being the side "on top" would be more fun. You'd have nothing to do and be bored all the time. Get out there, kick some evils around, and make a name for yourself. Ripping down the team on top is way more fun than joining it. Zrothum
It's extremely aggravating trying to do that right now. They can flee and run behind the torments. You can't chase reliably. If they are beating you down, you can't get away easily depending on where you are. Even if you're smart and you fight during the day, if you can't finish it quickly (I love long, epic PK battles myself) then you are screwed when day comes. In come a couple torments and bash you, corrupt you, outmelee you....all while you're still worried about that evil.

Get out there' date=' kick some evils around, and make a name for yourself. Those damn things are gangers ... and unfortunately they've caused my death several times.
Malchaeius
You know, there is one large specific chunk of space consisting of several areas where there is a very very low chance of a torment being found. I say very low and not zero because the only way the torments will go there is if they teleport in. And no. I do not mean Winter and the like. KRins
I know where you are talking about...but if I know so do most other people. And said evil that needs a beating will just avoid that place...by like half the world. You are basically going to run into torment before then if you are running/chasing.
