Ali_gmud
Which class is your worst nightmare to fight, I know everyone since they've begun has had trouble with one certain class more than any other, whats yours? Mine, without a doubt is... Necromancers.
Implementor Anume Posted October 9, 2008 Implementor Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 Well played healers. If they are dressed + played right there is just NO way to keep them in battle if they don't wish to.
Ali_gmud
I can forsee this being a debate of paper scissor rock. One class is better agaisnt this class while this class is stronger against that class. But there has got to a nemsis of class you've always had since the begining of your time playing here. Ali_gmud
I understand thieves and shamans can be a pain but crusaders..... hands down.... seriously? are you able to expand on that one for me??
Guest emp_newb
Honestly Saders are NEVER the same. To quote Raargant they are the mother of all replayability. You could have one that is impossible to hit in melee combat, and another that dishes out such rediculous damage an invoker could not match it. A smart crusader has the POTENTIAL to wreck the pbase with ease, the only problem is getting a sader, and then learning it is a tough process, and usually after the first one people do not want to try for it again. Personally a decent shaman is my worst. No matter what your saves are, or how fast you are, a decent shaman will give you serious problems. Sirax
Vamps for me, sometimes they just make your efforts seem futile. Killed one once, died many times.

killalou
shamans for me...you really need high mal save and curatives for them.
mya
Shamans. I don't even try to fight one short being a Invocker or a thief/ninja. Or perhaps a heavy mal decked Cleric, with spell turn, and even then... It's the lockdown. They can take your moves away and then slowly eat you. It's not that is impossible to kill them, but i find it so dam hard to escape if you are losing. But then again a Dwarf Berserker Fury could make a Shaman cry... Ali_gmud
Alright, after recently playing a shaman in Nexus I know how fun and evil they can be, and without a doubt 'my' funiest class to play. but am I the only one that keeps constantly getting bash the hell out of when fighting necromancers, I cannot get a command in at all ever, and the zombies just totally out damage me when playing melee classes. Each time I've rolled a warmaster, I've had a savant necromancer problem Whether it be Stynlyne(sp) or Korropant, or Azun. 3 warmasters, 3 warriors, 3 necromancers problems. Deykari
A smart invoker. Huge damage potential here, especially when you start throwing their effective use consumables into the mix, and the fact that attrition takes its toll in terms of EQ loss. Either that, or I'm just incredibly unlucky with losing equipment when fighting invokers. Dey
Guest emp_newb
Wtf are you talking about, I cannot count how many times I fought Pamiyn with Krondrin and I remember blowing like 3 pieces at most. And after playing an invoker Dey, you should know exactly what blows them to bits The womanly gnomish holy shaman
yxlist
I dont think shamans would be that bad. Demon Nexus Shamans. They are bad I haven't had the necro zombie bash problem cuz my old invoker always had prot shield up and area spells ruin the necro and their pets. Thieves, um, I only had a problem with one thief and that was because my sanct fell in the midst of fighting him (I fled and got it back up but had taken too much damage while trying to hit the flee). Vampires are insane, I think. so them and demon nexus (insert anything class here) are the worst

Aulian
Demons and vamps dont really pose a problem (they might beat me at times sure, but usually I make a mistake or they are beef like martineius. The rest you can deal with.) Saders - Played one, super hard class for a few reasons but I havent faced one that I couldnt beat either (I played a goodie when corim was around, lucky me.) Shamans - Absolutely HATE them. A well played shaman is a pain in the rectal for KILLING them (stay too long in battle and death for you is CERTAIN). Survival is EASY if you play with patience. I would have to say Blademasters, they are beatable but their ability to ADAPT to so many situations (with prep obviously) makes them probably the worst class in the game to beat if they are well played. yxlist
I need to re-iterate... I hate fighting the *anything that can beat my arse* class but I love playing the *anything I can beat your arse with* class. They're my favorites
