A buncha people on the internet you don't listen to regarding anything else will have no sway on your opinions in this matter. You already know that 90% of us will say the same thing.

But, in hopes our words do hold sway.... run, play sports, do more than you are doing now active (I have a feeling you're already gonna inform us of how much you actually already do). "Your body is just the suit you wear while you're hear." some guy that OD'd once said... do you look at the person that walks around in cloths that smell like eight day old cigarettes and pot, stained and burned with embers, and with a hint of a cheap booze on them with respect or disdain?

Took me a while to realize what my answer was to that. From my experience, you've got no where but up to go from where you are when you're smoking, doping, and drinking. But, other's will disagree. Your mileage may vary.

I see no problem with RECREATIONAL use of substances, not habitual. It is proven pot is not physically addictive, so it is the undisciplined person who lets it rule them. So unless it is causing you severe problems directly, do not think that a drastic change in your lifestyle will change things, it is a change in mentality you would be looking for. I have quit smoking pot before, and it really changed nothing for me, so I realized it was how I perceived things and dealt with it that was the issue, not what I did in social situations.

I am not too active. every week i run one mile on monday and play football for 3-5 hours on friday every week, and that's about it, with the occasional boxing match. Also, i was never addicted to pot, or a habitual smoker (of weed) . Just once in a while, like once a month. i figured, as long as i am quitting tobacco, (i smoked 24 cigarettes, a cigar, and a cigarillo in one day, then i decided it was time to quit), why not drop the weed, booze, shrooms, lsd and all that other random **** i do on occasion, because after a look at my life, i realized that if i continued on the path i was on, i would end up sitting in a cell very soon.

I had cravings for cigs for like 3 days after i stopped. not anymore tho, though i do find it hard to refuse a cig. I get hooked to addictive substances easily, but i can quit easily too.

LSD, I think (may be wrong here, might be confusing it wiht another) if a fat soliuable drug. Meaning, it stays in your fat when you've had enough of it. why is this a problem? As you get active, start sweating and using the fat (stored energy)... you'll unleash the drugs into your system that you've been covertly storing. So, if this is the drug I'm thinking of, expect some strange trips of varying degrees.

Congrats on the awakening to yourself. I don't know if you would have ended in a cell, but you can make that conclusion. You did, and you've taken steps to change it. Takes balls to do that.

THC stores in fat for sure. However, the body produces a natural cannibinoid during high levels of activity anyway which has been linked to the 'second wind' in some runners and also the feelings of well being after good sessions of exercise. So, even if you are not a junkie, your body produces and uses chemicals similar to THC under certain circumstances and has receptor sites to facilitate this.

Endorphins are endogenous opioid polypeptide compounds. They are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in vertebrates during strenuous exercise [1],[2], excitement, and orgasm[3]; and they resemble the opiates in their abilities to produce analgesia and a sense of well-being. Endorphins work as "natural fever relievers", whose effects may be enhanced by other medications.

1 mile ???, you mean as a warm up correct ? Because i don't even sweet running such a distance.

I would recommend another running on Friday, after work/school followed by a bath. This may cost you at the start, but will create a marker of separation between worktime and weekend time. I can garante you will feel like a different men after the bath.

Make the distance at least 2.5 miles, so that you work on your abs (ie. beer gut). Also don't forget to do a power speed run in the ending to prevent getting to thin.

it's only for my dog. he's fat, i like to give him a good run once a week. i can run 5 miles reasonably easily, i do whenever i oversleep for schoool. i used to be in really good shape like 2 years ago.

i could bench 300+ lbs and squat 430lbs, and i couldn't count the number of situps and pushups i could do. and you know what's kinda messed up? even then, i couldn't run very long. like 6 or 7 miles max. now i can bench 130 and squat 270 (this is my base, my very first max- i'm back to where i started, as i just didn't work out for like the whole 2 years.)

:( it's friggen horrible.

Mya, I love your english. I laugh every day because the things you say are so innocent, yet sooooo raunchy. I read that section as "I can guarantee you will feel different men after the bath."

But, yeah. Lifting and whatnot do almost nothing for "stamina". Sure, a stronger guy could, in theory, use more power than me. But, I'm damn sure I could out last them in a foot chase. Cardio is a big thing. Cardio, cardio, cardio. A lot of people think doing situps for hours on end will kill the gut... it really won't do it as effectively as a quater time spent doing situps and the rest running. You'll just have a six pack under your flab. You've gotta use up the energy you've got stored in your fat to get rid of it. (at least that's my assumption on it). One minute of sit up can't be worth more calories than one minute of running.

Oh, I guess I'll get this out there.... A woman from a coastal, European country who has in the past talked about Gyms, Running, and exercise in general... we need you're picture, Mya... players pics page and all...
